We stayed in this two-star hotel for five days, from 14th to 19th July. For a reason we deliberately chose it, despite the fact we knew it might be in a poor shape. ||Our first impression was close to poor, probably due to the fact we had been prejudiced about it.||We had asked for a refurbished room, and we got it: it is spacious, has a balcony, bathroom OK, deserves three stars and a half. It also has a foldable third bed. There was a smell in the bathroom resembling mould, but we concluded later that it must have been coming from the laundry through the vents.||You can tell wherever you look throughout the hotel that it has both old and refurbished parts.||There is a swimming pool, clean, big enough, I went there just once and regretted later I had not gone more often. Good outdoor sports grounds are the reason for sports people, generally young, to come here. There is also Adventure park in front of the hotel. Members of the reception staff are young and efficient, though we did not need their service much during our stay. The reception area has free wi-fi, unavailable in the rooms, which is something that should see an improvement. There is a decent cafe-terrace where you can enjoy your drink/coffee, and even order a meal. ||The weakest point are the meals. We had half-board, breakfast and dinner were on a self-service principle; we could not imagine a poorest lay-out of the dishes! Are they seriously under-staffed, or under-enthusiastic, or what? The mountain Zlatar is beautiful, well worth visiting, it excells in great variety of wild flowers, how on earth they could not pick a few and decorate the master-table? The food was two stars, but the service was zero, definitely. ||There is a better option just across the parking lot, a much better small hotel called "Zlatiborski zlatnik", for about the same price: good-looking, clean, original, with a good story about the owner, with much better service, food, restaurant. But, majority of twin rooms in it don't have balconies, it doesn't have a swimming pool, reception area is small, no sports grounds. So, it all goes down to what you are looking for. ||The latter is making additions and it will have a swimming pool, sports and other amenities in a matter of few months, and then it will surely have all the advantages on its side. While we were staying in "Panorama" and had half-board there, we had our mid-day meals, desserts and drinks in much more...
Read moreHotel is situated in the best location on the mountain. Only few km from the closest city, and with lot of walking trails through forest. Car ride away is also lovely Zlatarsko lake, where you can spend the day and enjoy swimming and boat ride along the lake as well. Hotel is one of the oldest on the mountain, and is definitely due for some renovation. We have been staying in the half renovated part of the hotel, room was clean, bathroom was also clean, but due to the fact that it is not completely renovated it doesn't look as clean as it is. Bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Room has a small terrace looking at the forest. There is a pool in the hotel but we haven't used it, so I cannot comment on it. We only had breakfast and it was ok, there are few choices to choose from. It could have maybe had more options, but it was fresh and tasty so no complaints there. For people looking to spend entire day outside and only coming to hotel for sleeping this is a good option. Those who spend more time indoors will definitely find more flaws than I did. Staff of the hotel is the most helpful...
Prljavo, prljavo, prljavo, staro, razlupano, uništeno, dotrajalo.
A vi sami procenite, slike i video u prilogu.
