Etno Selo Moravski Konaci — Hotel in Velika Plana Municipality

I have spent 2 nights at the Ethnic village Moravski konaci, for the New Year´s Eve.||||When you enter this complex from the parking lot, you will have to walk for a while to get to the restaurant where you can check in.||||The cottages are made from wood, like the 19th century cottages from western Serbia. They are very small (even for the east European standards) and equipped with a bed, a cabinet and a TV set with satellite channels (Serbian Polaris package). The bathroom of a cottage is also very small, so you must be careful not to bump your head into the water heater. The cottages are not convenient for a long stay, but just for a short rest or sleeping. There is an air condition and a marble heater in every cottage. When you shut the window lids, you can sleep through all day, because you do not know whether is it day or night. But when you wake up you will have to make bad and do all the cleaning if necessary by yourself, because the cottages are not cleaned by the staff.||||The restaurant is spacious and it is made from wood and glass with a beautiful pond view. Food is great and the staff is very friendly. Program for the New Year's Eve was very good with good music and a few surprises (a fake gypsy band, a jolly Santa Claus, a brass band at midnight, a nice looking bally dancer and a prize contest), so my wife and I had a great time.||||At this ethnic village you can enjoy walking among the cottages, which are surrounded with a bunch of 19th century tools and other thing. In the center of this complex there is a large pond with beautiful little islands and bridges. The complex has swimming pools which are open in the summer and the orthodox church.||||If you are looking for a comfort and luxury, I think that this is not a place for you. Prijatan ambijent. Konobari obučeni u narodnu nošnju što daje dodatnu vrednost na celokupni izgled. Medjutim, oko hrane može do neslaganja. Naročito oko plaćanja iste. Naime: Ako naručite lučanu papriku kao salatu, očekujete da u njoj bude belog luka (neverovatno je, ali ima onih koji mogu i hoće jesti sveži beli luk). Ili bar da je ista ta paprika OLJUŠTENA!!! U svakom slučaju, iako se žalite na kvalitet naručene hrane, osoblje neće imati nikakav problem da vam je naplate. Na sve to imaju problem oko vraćanja odgovarajućeg kusura. Ako planirate da proverite kakva je usluga, srećno! Nice place. Waiters who are wear national costumes gives additional value to whole overall appearance. But, if we talk about food, there can be disagreement. Specially about payment. If you order salad: roasted peppers with fresh garlic (Serbian specialty), you expect to find fresh garlic in it (there is a people who can and will eat fresh garlic). Or at least roasted pepper should be peeled!!! Never the less, if you complain about food, restaurant staff will not have any problem to charge it. ~ Parking and road to the location were really good. ~ Stuff is polite but very slow, we've waited for 2hrs in the restaurant just to get menu!!! They should pay more attention to their customers. ~ Lake around the village is more a swamp than a lake. ~ Rooms decor is completely dreadful. You don't get enough light and if you are not accommodated in one of small houses you are in one big house where you don't even have where to sit besides bed.
