The hospitality game is on point at Treasure Cove, from the warm welcome with a Lemongrass drink from Mary France, the patron saint of this hotel to the outstanding, kind and non-judgemental service from Diane and (sorry if I get this wrong) and Estrellia. The team here from housekeeping to ownership, immediately made us feel like family and were very generous with their knowledge, insight and honestly, their genuine guidance in organizing outings to create a perfect trip. ||Our room was warm and comfortable with perfect beds and all the pillows we could have dreamed of. Bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The hotel is a small property and it made for a perfect relaxating time in the pool, poolside, and at the cozy restaurant serving up Italian inspired dishes with a seafood flair. ||Breakfast daily was included and quite hardy. I am particular about bacon and everyday, they serverd me the most perfect bacon I could of dreamed of. Cocktails wewre delicious, especially the Pirate's Punch but the wine selection was fantastic and they even kept it chilled for us when we didn't quite finish it.||if you are looking for a place that is high-energy, pushing excursions and hammering you for extras, this is not for you. If you want to feel like you are in the home of a friend who wants you to have an enjoyable time, regardless of the length of your stay, and will bend over backwards to make it happen, including impulsive taxi rides and plan changes, this is your home. ||They home four magnicifant giant turtles that they feed and provide a comfortable environment for and guests can visit and assist with feeding should they choose. The entire island is environmentally conservative and we were able to seperate our garbage accordingly. There are nearby stores and restaurants, walkable from the hotel and the quaint village of Beau Vallon where you can catch the perfect sunset at La Plage is a 10 minute taxi ride.||I cannot say enough good things about this hidden treasure except that if you are seeking an opulant, overpriced, mega hotel, this is not for you. If you want a wonderful environment filled with enthusiastic, professional and kind staff, this...
Read moreThis was the perfect location for our honeymoon!|The hotel is small with only 10 rooms all accessed by stairs (no lift so only for the reasonably fit). It has a decking area with sun loungers and umbrellas next to the small infinity pool with the covered outdoor restaurant and bar at the other side. It offers fantastic views out across the bay over the Indian Ocean.|The rooms are possibly on the small side but offer air conditioning, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, lots of storage and an en suite.|All the rooms have a private balcony offering again the same views as the pool/bar/restaurant area. |The breakfast was ordered off the menu as is lunch and dinner. We found the choice was limited as we are vegetarian/vegan but the quality was good.|I would recommend hiring a car and driving yourself if confident but there is a hotel shuttle bus to Beau Vallon beach daily and the public bus passes the hotel every 30 minutes. Victoria is only a 20 minute drive away and the South of the Island another hour's drive maximum. There are a few small convenience stores nearby that are walking distance if you want to save some money and purchase your own drinks and snacks for the room. There is a small beach only a few minutes walk away and the trail to Anse Major beach will take 1.5 to 2 hours to walk where there is a small beach shack selling alcohol, water and grilled fish. I would recommend getting "Mr Happiness" water taxi back to the hotel, he leaves on the hour every hour and will drop you at the harbour at Bel Ombre which is a 10 minute walk back to the hotel. You can book a boat trip or snorkeling trip from the harbour also.|The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much bother and the local knowledge was invaluable for finding the best...
Read moreWonderful get away! Check in was smooth with a cool drink offered upon arrival. Only 30 minutes from the airport and overlooking the water.
Room was clean. Bed comfortable. The shower was fabulous- great water pressure! Enjoyed breathtaking sunsets from our ocean facing balcony.
Small but refreshing pool. Perfect to take a dip and cool off after soaking up some rays. My favourite was to hang over the edge of the infinity pool and watch the boats go by. Was lucky enough to see a school of dolphins swim past on 2 different days.
The restaurant was delicious. Everything I ordered was tasty. Breakfast was simple but cooked well. I looked forward to it every morning. Prices were reasonable for hotel dining considering the portion and quality of food.
Staff were friendly and accommodating. They helped arrange tours and transport.
Checkout was effortless. If There was anything that could be improved it would be the wifi. It was patchy and frequently kicked me out. It worked well enough to check in with family but it wouldn’t be enough to complete any sort of work. (Which was ok for me). I truly enjoyed my experience at treasure cove and...
