Pension Perla - Aqua — Hotel in Ždiar

Seriously? The only advantage of this guest house is that you will get the accommodation here almost anytime, even in the middle of the season and even for some short time. But everything good ends here. The rooms are terrible, everything can be heard everywhere. The owner lady is not very polite and helpful. Furthermore, I do not understand how so many people can write here that there is excellent home-cooked food here?! They probably stayed in a completely different guest house than us, and I would rather not want to taste what these people are cooking at home for themselves. :-) The food here is terrible. This was how the food was cooked and the food tasted in the communist school cafeteria, sometime around 1965. The food is tasteless and the portions are really small and not inadequate in quantity, even for children. For me certainly never again and if it is possible a little bit, I recommend you to avoid this guest house. There is plenty of accommodation options in Ždiar that are far way better...

Pros: The penzion is in a beautiful location, you can see the mountains in the yard, there is a kitchen, you have to buy food by yourself, the environment is quiet, there is no noise in the rooms, you can rest, admire the mountains, and fully sleep. Cons: Unstable Wi-Fi connection, it either exists or disappears, the rooms are cold after the rain, the radiators are turned off, there is no dryer for clothes in the bathroom, there is no hair dryer, the hostess is very demanding, a little controlling, even though you pay money, etc. The garbage is not taken out of the block either, she is angry that the blanket is dirty, covered with juice, although it is her job to wash it and it is logical that during the 6 days of being in the penzion, the bed linen can get dirty... I think paying €137 for 6 nights is too much... If we ever go to Ždiar again, we will choose...
