The hotel is placed directly in the city center of Ziar nad Hronom, which is a small provincial city in Central Slovakia. The hotel is just 5 minutes walking from the bus station, 90 minutes driving from Bratislava (R1 highway), and is facing the main square with the new lightning fountain.||As the city is quite small (approx. 20k inhabitants), the quantity of accommodation facilities is limited. However, the city is positioned just in the middle of several attractions, and if you need to travel to the city, this is the ideal place to stay. Prices are relatively low (approx. EUR 30 / double room / night), staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean; the hotel is not new but the condition of the furnishing is still good. There is a fitness center and a restaurant, which is probably the best in the town with nice selection of international meals, including gluten-free and vegetarian meals, home-made lemonades, and good coffee. WiFi is reliable in all hotel rooms. The restaurant has a big children corner with slides. Free public parking is just next to the hotel. Breakfast is simple but tasty, included in the room price (typically eggs, sausages, salads, bread, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, etc.). Nearby activities include river rafting (river Hron), thermal pools (ask for discounts for hotel guests), beautiful city park with a pool (summer only),...
