G Hotel Žilina — Hotel in Žilina

We stayed in this hotel on our transfer through Slovakia. The location of the hotel is near a very busy street, that is used throughout whole night. And on the other side there is a factory - so forget about silence and windows cannot be kept open, so ventilation is quite poor. The rooms are quite small, pretty worn out. Bathrooms have seen their best days and would need fixing, also very limited amenities. The only bright point - breakfast. Was pretty wide choice - eggs, sausages, cereals, joghurt, cheese, vegetables and fruit. So for a quick stay - might be but that is it. Also it is located quite far away from...

The only positive was the English speaking receptionist at check-in. She's beautiful!!

The room had paper thin walls, i could hear the bloke next door snoring. WiFi absolutely dreadful in the room. The blanket was dirty as if it had been thrown on the floor. Curtain was falling off. Scary to walk back to from town at night (in the dark)

Gave it a 2 on the basis of the good service. Definitely veering towards being a 1*...

For this price it is a good solution for a one night stay in Zilina. Rooms are basic but clean. Bed linen is very bad though. Not too much for breakfast, anyway the final verdict is average because of good position and price. It is close to a main road in an industrial area, so there isn't anything in the surroundings, but the city center or Zilina is a...
