Čunovo Water Sports Centre — Hotel in Bratislava

This place ha the right idea, but it lacks proper management and maintenance. They have a man-made river for surfing that is lots of fun. Only problem is how out of date the equipment is and how disorganized the staff are. I emailed and called twice the day before asking about reservations, and was told there was no need. I drove 45 minutes and when I got there they said they were all out of surfboards. Their entire equipment consists of 4 completely beat up foam shortboards and one regular fiber glass surfboard. After talking with the staff I was given a board that literally was taped together from one edge to the other, and it didnt even have a leash. I was told to ask somebody at the river if I could borrow theirs. There are also no employees at the river looking out for everyone's safety, so you just have to rely on getting help from the locals that...

I liked the place very much. They have a great team for events. Rafting there is very good. They explain everything so also a complete beginner can try it. They have all the safety item you need. Stanovali sme tu s deťmi. Areál kempu je veľký a disponuje aj (asi) 4 miestami na pripojenie k elektrickej sústave (s viacerými zásuvkami na každej krabici). Z kempu je dobrý prístup k pokojnej hladine Dunaja v zátoke aj k toaletám a sprchám (v lete 2022 tam ale netiekla teplá voda - teplá sprcha sa nachádza v susednej budove v hotelovej časti). K dispozícii je aj pekný bazén so slanou vodou (vstup 3.50/2.50 za dosp./dieťa), pri ktorom je aj bufet s občerstvením a chutným jedlom typu streetfood. Reštaurácia s plnohodnotným jedálničkom je o pár krokov ďalej. Okrem kempu je tu možnosť objednať si drevenú chatku alebo hotelovú izbu. Základ tohto areálu tvoria samozrejme vodné kanály na kajaking a rafting, ale nájdu sa tu aj iné (beach voleyball, lukostreľba, štvrolkolky, futbal, surfing...). Ceny na bare sú dosť vysoké, ale kemp je lacný a pohodlný - vytkol by som mu iba málo tieňu. Na čape mali pivo Krušovice 10, Bradáč 12 od Heinekenu a kofolu.
