Hotel Modena — Hotel in Bratislava

Booking accommodation in this hotel was the biggest mistake during our trip to the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia. The hotel is located in a factory part outside the city. There is nothing around except the areas next to the refinery. There's a stench in the air from the refinery. We booked a hotel outside the city so as not to have problems with parking the car, and we were greeted with an unpleasant welcome, despite the large area, the hotel wants to add the cost of parking, the service of the girl at the reception is downright rude, we explain to her that we are choosing a hotel outside the city so as not to have problems with parking, this was the information on the booking portal: If I had to pay for parking, I would choose a hotel in the center and pay for parking, or at least I could go into the city to a restaurant. It is clear that the girl from the reception has absolutely no customer service, she behaves arrogantly, raises her voice, which is unacceptable, and I have a lot of experience with hotels as the owner of a tourist company for 16 years. He can't even program the room card and you have to go back to the reception with such simple matters. After such a situation, no one, either at home or during training, taught such an employee that it is appropriate to apologize to the customer and not complain and have the attitude of a princess at the reception. Complete failure in this hotel. It is difficult to park the car, even to take the luggage out of the car, close to the hotel entrance. Everything was closed around, as if the hotel was prepared to defend the building against the enemy. I also met another couple at the entrance who were disgusted with the hotel check-in procedure. I do not recommend it, it is better to look for another hotel where they think about the customer, take care of them and be nice, not like in communist times where the employee sits like a master and is not interested in taking care of the customer even in...

Worst hotell i’ve been to in a while. First of the room didn’t look like on the pictures at all. Defects in doors, in the bathtub and the bed was really cheep with a thin matress. The «wellness spa» thing was terrible. It smelled like mold in two of the saunas, the toilet there smelled like it wasnt cleaned in a few days and we found leftover garbage in the room. The jacuzzi had not been cleaned after the previous guests either. This is a SCAM for the price of 60€. Please don’t come to this hotel expecting anything above avarage. The receptionist should be paid more assuming from the grim face she had the whole stay. Martina was kind enough to help us with everything but drinking water wasn’t one of those things. Very nice hotel with good location and nice atmosphere in winter, there are some small problems should be fixed, first the address is not right always in Google map shows behind the hotel so you have to walk around then you will find especially when you come by car or by taxi, the climate in rooms during summer is so hot , you have to take a very good shower then sleep , the price is normal for a beautiful city like Bratislava, the employees were very respectful and responsible and also so clean in the resturant , wheelchairs can't come in easily they have to make the special way entrance for handicap people.
