Hotel Bystrička — Hotel in Bystrička

We stayed at this hotel because I had a business meeting nearby. It was recommended by the meeting organizers. There are not many choices in the area.||First a few ok things. The room and bathroom were both large. It had been remodeled in the past few years so it was in good condition. The bed was ok. The restaurant overall was OK. The staff tried to be helpful.||Now to the other stuff. ||I am older and my mobility is less than optimal, though I'm not really impaired. I was dismayed to find there was no elevator! I didn't think to check - I learned a lesson there. Like the other hotels I've stayed at in Slovakia, it had a big, deep bathtub with a shower wand. And this one didn't even have a grab bar. The bed was a low platform bed, so getting up from it was another challenge.||There were also some service challenges. One of the lamps was not plugged in. The little frig was not plugged in and the cord was behind a very heavy chest of drawers. We had to get the front desk to send someone to fish out the cord.||Nine of us had dinner there one night. Overall, the food was good and plentiful, but not something you would drive far for. They forgot to put in the order for two of us and we had to ask again and then wait quite a while. ||Special mention goes to the "orange juice" at breakfast, which resembled orange juice in that it was indeed orange. Otherwise, there was no similarity to real orange juice. It resembled watered-down kool-aid.||Overall, I think the picture I posted of the wilted roses at our table the first day sums up the visit...

We had our wedding at Hotel Bystricka and we totally recommend it. The hotel personal was always helpful, not only during the wedding day, but also any time we went to the hotel to organize things related to the wedding. We got the wedding apartment for the entire day and the night of the wedding. The room is big, light... perfect for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. Chcem sa podeliť o skúsenosť s týmto hotelom... Baby na recepcii veľmi milé a nápomocné. Obsluha v reštaurácii normálna. Čo sa týka polpenzie raňajok a večere tak je to na strednej úrovni....bolo by čo zlepšovať ohľadom množstva (chýbalo pečivo na raňajkách ) a hlavne teploty jedla v chafingoch...(na raňajky praženica, párky, slanina, volské oko úplne studené,na večeri keď boli hranolky úplne vlažné a to sme boli na raňajkách o ôsmej ráno a na večeri o pol siedmej večer....) Polpenzia u vás je sklamanie. Wellnes tomu nie je čo vytknúť, azda len to že teplota vo vírivke bola prvý krát 36° a na druhý deň keď sme boli tak úplne vlažná...(Vírivka by mala mať rovnakú teplotu stále) Čo sa týka izby... ako prvé na izbe chýbal manuál a informácie o hoteli.. napríklad kedy sú raňajky a večere a pod.... Po príchode na izbu sme si hneď všimli všadeprítomný prach a pavučinu (v tej izbe sa poriadne neupratovalo snáď aj mesiac...... Obrazy,radiátory,televízor,lampy Prach nad dverami,prach za posteľou.... V kúpeľni to isté ale najviac má dostalo umývadlo....pridám foto... Proste všade kam sme sa pozreli zanedbané upratovanie.....) Čo sa týka postele je absolútne nevyhovujúce aby bol v strede molitan! Tá posteľ sa absolútne nehodí do hotela!!!! Nepohodlná! Bolo by dobré aj zváženie výmeny matracov za kvalitnejšie hotelové.... Celkový dojem je taký že hotel síce má 3 hviezdičky ale mohol by na sebe trošku popracovať a zlepšiť svoju kvalitu vo všetkých smeroch... Hlavne veľké mínus je všadeprítomný prach ktorý sa ľahko odstraňuje a pani upratovačky ktoré sú veľmi dôležitým článkom v každom hoteli by mali svoju prácu vykonávať...
