Farma Javor — Hotel in Horná Lehota

It was such a great accommodation. We spent a week here and I absolutely loved it. The rooms are quite simple but comfortable (especially the beds - I loved the combination of firm bed and a soft pillow). The building is located at the end of the village so it is very peaceful and quiet - so quiet that I had the impression that the bees are loud! (Of course there are some noises from the nearby animals - you can hear the sheep sometimes, the dog barking etc.) The host was super lovely - despite the language barrier we were able to communicate perfectly, he recommended many trails to us and contributed greatly to our great experience. We also ordered breakfast - the host cooked it for us every day - it was very tasty and the host was trying to make it varied as much as possible. The homemade sheep cheese was an amazing treat. There are also some animals on the farm (sheep, cows, dogs, cats) that also add to the great experience. The only very small comments I might have: the shared kitchen/fireplace area was a bit less cosy than I expected and not as pristine clean as the rest of the house we were alone there for majority of our stay but I think with more people staying we would hear some noise from the other rooms

Nevertheless, an excellent place to stay in the Nizke Tatry and I hope I can be...

Eine Oase der Ruhe und Gastfreundlichkeit mitten in den Slowakischen Bergen.

Die Zeit die wir hatten bleibt uns auf jeden Fall in Erinnerung. Der Standort (Wandergebiet und Badesee direkt angrenzend) die friedlichen Tiere, das Essen (selbstgemachter Schafskäse) und am meisten die Herzlichkeit der Betreibenden.

Man kann wunderbar selbst kochen und draußen essen. Wenn man mit den anderen Gästen in Kontakt kommen will, geht das auch - muss aber nicht.

Absolute Weiterempfehlung für Paare, Freundesgruppen...
