Rekreačné stredisko TURISTICKÝ RAJ — Hotel in Hrabušice

I have accidentally found this place after leaving "famous" camping site "Podlesok", where extra fee should be payed for shower and using kitchen oven.||||Host (manager) of the Turisticky RAJ was brilliant and exceptionally warm and polite person and invited me and my wife just to check their place. The price for small house with 4 beds and 220v electricity (where you can charge your devices, use a laptop etc.) was less than in Podlesok Camping (where you pay for 2 adults, a tent and a car). Here in Turisticky RAJ you get small house with electricity, free showers (outdoor) with hot water, central building facility with kitchen with all equipment (with no extra fee) including refrigerator, a large resting room with TV and a terrace where you can enjoy nice weather with your cup of coffee or having luch.||||The whole facility is nearby popular tracks of National Park in Slovakia (Slovensky Raj), so in few minutes you can start your trip and adventure right from here.||||The small houses and main building are a bit outdated, but I give 5 stars for the nicest welcome from the manager, and every effort of the staff that makes this cozy place as best as it could be.||||We will definitely come back to this place with our kids next time !!!||||PS: You pay even less per person if you stay more than 2 days in...

Spent 3 nights here back in June in Chatka KEMP with half-pension (breakfast buffet & warm dinner for 13,5€ pp). Everything was great, we were given clear instructions on the arrival and they let us have a late dinner 🙏🏼

We could use the shared bathrooms inside of the main building (there are two hot showers on the upper floor). The wifi signal wasn’t strong in our cottage but it doesn’t really matter since you spend most of the day in the beautiful nature. The breakfast buffet selection was quite good but we would have welcomed some scrambled eggs or an omelette as well haha. I loved the soups and main meals which were served for dinner, they brought me back to my high school canteen. A true Slovak experience 😋

There is wifi and some board games in the main building. There’s also a fully functional kitchen and an electronic shoe dryer inside.
