Pension Manín — Hotel in Kostolec

We have been visiting Slovakia since 2010 as my wife has family there - and this is one of the nicer Pensions we have stayed in.|Nice rooms - warm and clean with Tv and wifi - shower and bathroom - no hot drink facilities in room but in the bar/restaurant downstairs.|Nice Eastern Europe style breakfast with some cured meats, eggs, cucumber and peppers,bread, butter, jam, yoghurts and pre packed croissant, juice and coffee.|This converted school is is good standard - staff friendly and helpful, about 10 mins from motorway and the town of Povazska Bystrica, couple of hours from high Tatra mountains 30 mins from Zilina.|For us the pension was of a higher standard than our usual accommodation and had the bonus of a private (€15 euros per hr at time of wring this) Sauna, cold dip bath, jacuzzi, and shower with hair dryer and changing facilities 10 m from the pension in a building adjacent. You'll regret not going out of your way to eat here. While remote, the surrounding areas are straight out of a fairytale, and if you didn't feel like driving, then you could also plan ahead to stay in one of their rooms. My wife, native to the area, brought me here a couple of years ago, and since then, I've craved their goulash. Their menu is simple, fair prices, and the most gastronomic meals. we spent here 4 nights during Easter, it is situated in a valley surrounded wih beautifull nature. In Walking distance is Kostolecka tiesnava, 30+ minutes Maninska tiesnava and in 2.5 hour of walk you can get to Sulov-Hradna also known by it`s beautifull nature.||Accomodation is in duplex rooms, you can add also breakfast and Restaurant is open until 10 PM every day, with approx. 10 kinds of meals to select.||Very helpfull and kind Service.||We recommend to visit...
