Penzión Larion — Hotel in Kráľova Lehota

I spent there 3 nights in January 2017 tempted me by their affordable prices and close proximity to Jasna Ski Resort. ||||It took me approximately 30 minutes to reach by car ski stations located at the foot of Chopok mountain. Rooms are spacious, clean and built in modern style. Despite very cold nights (up to -25 Celsius degrees) my room stayed warm and comfortable. Room equipment includes a set of towels, two glasses, a TV set and Wi-Fi.||||Keep in mind that the pension targets modest prices, so you may experience few minor inconveniences, like double bed created by joining two separate beds instead of a large one or orange drink instead of orange juice for breakfast. Though, their customer service is superior. Two days in a row I had problems to start my car in the morning due to very cold nights. First time someone from the pension crew provided me with a rectifier and allow to charge the battery in my car for an hour which helped me to start the engine. The next day the rectifier was charging another car, so the crew member opened the mask of my car to diagnose the problem. It turned out that the ignition system was frozen which prevented me from starting the engine. Finally, a receptionist allowed me to leave my car in their private garage for the last night.||||Overall, I truly recommend the Pension Larion for anyone with own car who is looking for an affordable accommodation. If you do not own a car you may look for something closer to Chopok, because a ski bus service is not available in Karlova Lahota, where the pension is located.||||Before going to Slovakia over winter make sure that your car battery is in good condition. Check how cold is going to be over night during your stay and consider getting a car assistance insurance in case...

We came for lunch at 1.30pm, sole customer table, 3 persons. Waiter came, young lady in leggin and tongs, giving us menus. Halucki and Pirohi disappeared from the menu. Pity, we came for it as it was well done.|Choices have been so much reduced! |We took garlic soup and drzkova. Quite ok.|Then porc meat with mushrooms, spinash pasta with chicken. Porc not enough cooked, chicken into pasta dry like a hell.|Non alcoholoc beer ordered was hot.|Waiter very slow. No other customers in restaurant but she came after 20mn beetwen each plate.|We asked of cooker and owner changed. Answer was that they are still the same.|They have for sure to react and place back their traditionnal cooked plates, ensure that cooker is ensuring quality and that waiters are not in teplaky to serve and behave professionally, as it has been past...

Prijemny a pekny penzion,kde je moznost sa ubytovat bud v starsich neprerobenych izbach,alebo naopak v novych luxusnejsich. Kedze sme objednavali na poslednu chvilu,prerobene izby uz neboli,len tie starsie. Napriek tomu,ze nabytok uz ma najlepsie roky za sebou,izba bola funkcna a cista. Prijemne prekvapili dve kresla s taburetkami. Balkon sme nemali,co je v lete celkom skoda,ale netravili sme cas na izbe,takze az tak nechybal. Penzion ma v restauracii pekny detsky kutik,z ktoreho sme nevedeli syna dostat :) tiez vonku je mensie detske ihrisko. Velmi sa nam pacil vyhlad z restauracie na zelene futbalove ihrisko. Jedlo celkovo vyborne, chutne,cenovo prijatelne. Ranajky boli na moj vkus chudobnejsie,ale dalo sa chutne najest. Velke plus davam za obsluhu a najma velmi prijemnu recepcnu. V slovenskych hoteloch/penzionoch to este stale nie je samozrejmost. Wellness sme nevyuzili,ani ine aktivity,lebo priroda v okoli bola krasna a lakala nas ist von. Urcite by som penzion odporucila pre rozne skupiny...
