Liked · Having an own private chalet and still having services as in a hotel, that is perfect combination. Possibility of serving meals directly to our chalet was great as well. Chalet was perfectly clean, quite spacious, with upper floor being a bit warmer and ground floor a bit cold, which was very nice during summer heatwaves. There was no wifi at chalets, as it was written we should speak to each other :) That is cool in this day and age, however I still had phone with data with me... :) The chalet provides privacy, it is furnished in cozy alpine style and it had room for skis, which we used to store our mtb bikes. Food they served was delicious. Breakfast was great, with several choices and with chef making great omelettes. Lunch and dinners were great, I would even dare to say that exceptional. The more and mroe used way how to cook food - sous vide - is quite popular in their kitchen and that is great, as I really appreciate slow-food, which is really delicious. Location is perfect, one can stay mroe than a week and still have things to do. We were biking around with my wife at our mountainbikes and there were plenty of routes we did not explore, so it is possible we might return back. Of course it is a bit pricey to afford all what I have just mentioned.||||Disliked · Speaking of things being expensive, there were services considered "on top" which in my opinion could have been charged in a different way. For example for those who wish to use fireplace at the chalet, there was a fee of 10€ for that. For bringing an order to chalet (e.g. dinner), there was fee of 8€. And actually, I really think that it is written in chalet "rule-book" that if you order dinner over 30€, you don´t have to pay 8€ fee. So we did, but at the end when checking out, the staff was convincing me there is no such note. As I did not want to brag about 8€, I let that go, as my overall experience was quite good. But since then I am now really curious whether I am not able to comprehend and understand text, or I...
Read moreWe have just returned for our 3rd consecutive year at this hotel, as two families. The location and accommodation arrangement is perfect for families. Chalets are cosy, well equipped and furnished and falling asleep to the sound of the brook behind is stunning. The food is beyond amazing. Returning this time was, as our girls put it, like coming home. The owner, Richard, greeted us on arrival and even appeared at the ski hire shop down the road to help with fitting (and translation) and then delivered us and the equipment back to the chalet. The public bus to Jasna failed to show today (this has never occurred before in our experience) but Richard pulled up with the minibus and delivered us all, in time for the booked lesson. All hotel staff are attentive, friendly and want to do everything they can to make our stay a treat. We could not recommend this hotel more highly. We LOVE it here. Two very...
