Pension Ajda — Hotel in Liptovský Mikuláš

Stayed here with my wife for six nights in September of 2014. We had a double room, ground floor, front of main building. 180 Euros for 6 nights breakfast not included.||||Place is 3 Km from train station. Taxi fare is 3 Euros. Slightly more if you travel at night. Hotel is situated on small river. Quiet location. Scandinavian decor with Teak and orange fabrics. Great beds. Refrigerator, plenty of hot water, very clean throughout. Kitchen facilities for use of guests. Very nice, bright, airy dining area with fireplace. Resident manager is a good guy. Very responsive. Drove us to the train when it was time to go. Little English spoken. I got by with German.||||City center is 3 Km away. We walked though there is a bus route near the hotel and the manager can always call a taxi for you at no charge. This hotel was among the best we used in our travels in East Europe. We would definitely stay here again.||||Breakfast cost is 5 Euro/ person. Starts at 7 AM. Little bang for the buck. Cold cuts, bread, eggs (scrambled, fried or omelet) juice, yogurt and cereal. The best thing about the Pension is the attitude of its owners. The couple that owned this property (and living there as well) is very nice, willing to help and supply your needs. ||||We were a bit disappointed (and it could be very much due to our misunderstanding of the room description) to found that the kitchen in the apartment was not big enough to have breakfast in the apartment (problem that was solved by acquiring the breakfast for 5€ per person at their dining room) and that there wasn’t enough air circulation in the lavatory (which is a problem when you have on lavatory for the whole family.||||The overall grade of this pension should be 3.5, but since Tripadvisor allows you only integer grades, I...

We stayed at this pension four night. We traveled with big company and took 6 rooms. ||They are very cleaned and comforted. Pansion had two bilds with free parking, which can stead 7-9 cars. All rooms with new furniture, beds ( matrace) very comforted, all for you need is in rooms. Bathrooms cleaned. New towels, soaps. If you wanna can have relax in sauna.
