The 5 of us came for dinner into the hotel restaurant During the week. We were curious because none of us have visited the premises before.||||We arrived around 5 pm. It was raining outside. We entered the restaurant through the main entrance and waited by the door to be seated. We waited but no one came, even though there were employees who saw us. We saw employees on the other side, but I guess they were not curious to find out why we were waiting by the door. Maybe they thought we were waiting for someone else...So after a while we proceeded into the dining room. We asked where to sit and we were told we could pick any table.||We sat down, the waiter came and took our order. The drinks and the food were ok, more like home cooking than high culinary experience the white glave service would indicate. White gloves service is usually reserved for the top restaurants. ||We finished our meal and waited for the waiter to bring the bill. It never arrived. This can happen when the restaurant is full and the waiters are busy. Not the case this time. The restaurant is quite spacious, there were only 2-3 tables occupied. We waited for quite a white, it was evident that everyone at the table was done. We had to leave so our host walked up to the desk, where the employees were and paid the bill.||||The food was ok, not white glove gastronomy, the food serving was appropriate. Still other aspects like not acknowledging the guests at the door, not greeting and seating them and not presenting the bill at the table leaves a feeling of an incomplete overall restaurant experience. Seating oneself and paying the bill by the cashier is done in a self service canteen not in a restaurant you are...
Read moreThis hotel offers various opportunities- from nice outdoir pools with a really lot of sunbeds for everyone, to a nice wellness, fitness and quite tasty restaurant, lava cake was just awesome. We had a "comfort" room, it was the largest hotel room I have ever been to,but it could be a bit cleaner (the carpet was stained with apparently some red wine in several places around the room). The maids did not come to make up the room or change the towels - not even once furing the 5 days stay. The staff in general was very young and unexperienced - they seemed to be just part- timers and did not know the manners - it is something that belongs to a 2-3star hotel but definitely not a 4* hotel. Moreover the lobby, restaurant and all tge common places are without air conditioning so they were extremely hot. If you have dinners prepaid, you get just a card with 8-10 different meals, but their quality is just average - nothing special and those 8-10 meals are not changing- they were the same all the time . Wellness was small but we were there totally alone, so it was just awesome for us.There are few small details that I did not like byt in general I was quite satisfied, therefore 3 stars. I would not recommend this hotel and I dont understand its 4* rating - yes it has a luxurious material everywhere but the services are really poor. In the bar next to pool they are unable to mix summer drinks - you get just draft beer or kofola and cans.... And i could continue like this for a long time. In general it was a nice stay but i would not recommend more...
Read moreThis place has Great Potential.||||Booking via telephone was do-able, reception speaks english and managed to find an available room (via computer?). The place is very easy to find, it is very visible from the main roads North of Lucenec. The reception is “behind” the hotel, but when I first entered via the restaurant, the personnel was able to point me to reception. From the looks of it, the place is still expanding and they seem to be building an even bigger water-park right next to it. Looks promising.||||Check-in was smooth, although there is a bit of queuing when other guests had lots of questions about bathrobes or spa-facilities. But the place was not very busy on a Saturday in June.||||My room was Spacious and functional. You will find the whole hotel is relatively new and spacious. A comfortable place to stay. Be careful, sometimes the layout is confusing and it is easy to get lost looking for bar or reception.||The spa is “extra” with a rate of 8E per 2 hrs (but that may vary depending on your booking or package)||Bar and restaurant were open in the evening, but not very busy yet.||Breakfast was Good, and checkout was ok, although the person in front of me had some details to sort out with the bill, which took quite some time.||||I agree with some of the other reviewers on “service”, the Staff is friendly and has good intentions, but they seem to lacks training, routine and experience. ||But all in all this place has...
