Hotel Končistá — Hotel in Lučivná

This is one of the most terrible hotels I've ever been in.||We stayed for 3 days in mid August.||||WiFi: There is no Wi-Fi in the public area – even in the dining room. But good WiFi in the rooms.||||Room: The mattress are uncomfortable. No air-condition in the rooms. ||Locking of the rooms is by a regular key, not a magnetic of RFID card. And you can't get a second key. This is very limited, when you want to split or to get into the kids room.||They didn't fix the problem in the shower – the door couldn't be closed, during our stay. In addition, the room itself was not cleaned during all our stay. Only one the maid of the hotel did entered the room and straightened the blanket – but only this. The sheets were not replaced, towels were not replaced, no new toiletries, the trash can was not empty. Very strange||||Location: Not a quite zone. Although the hotel located in a remote rural village, you can hear loud noise of the cargo trains which passing by very frequently, day and night. It's not the quietness of passengers trains. It's a very loud noise which woke us several times during the nights.||In the hotel surrounding there is nothing to do. No restaurants, not pubs, no were to go. ||||Wellness: The Swimming pool and the Jacuzzi were too cold. When I called the lady from the reception to tell her, she just said: "It's OK" and just run away from me. Very rude behavior. They also didn't fix the broken light in the sauna, during our 3 days stay.||There are no towels in the wellness. They give sheets for the sauna – and then charge for € 1 for each time we took a sheet. Really impertinence !||||Few Pros: Looks like a new place, well-kept and very clean.||Good Wi-Fi connection in the rooms (But not at all in the dining room)||Easy access to the High Tetras area, to Slovak paradise, to D1 highway and to all the attractions in the area – but only if you have a car.||Good work of the chef and the young waiter||||To conclude: They simply don't know how to run hotels. It's definitely not 4 starts hotel. Maybe 2 starts at the most !||Very overpriced and not worth the money....

We had bad luck with wheather as it was full weekend rainy and windy.||Staff on the reception was very nice, polite and helpfull they helped us to find backup plan in bad wheather.||||Positive ||+nice polite and helpfull receptionist||+clean room||+big room||+nice and big bathroom ||+dinner - tasty food, everything we ate,(they prepared amazing soups and all meat was very tasty)||+ pool was nice but small||+because of bad wheather we didn't try minigolf but it looks nice||+sauna - nice, clean good temperature, (3 kinds of saunas)||+ nice and quiet location||||Negative||-very low bed (extremly low)||-no room service during our stay from Friday till Sunday||- big not forming pillow (however when we asked on the reception they brought us smaller it was appreciated)||-toitete was too high (probably because shower was modify for disabled people as well), it's not really negative but feet weren't touch the floor.. ||-breakfast looked cheap with small selection (2 kinds of jams, 2 kinds of joghurt, musli in small bowl for full hotel, missing more ham,) missing ham end eggs, omelett etc., offering only bread and no baguettes at all, In the choise only hard boiled eggs, ||- I asked for some salads next dinner but they didn't offer it at all..... only rice, potatos and dumpligs,||-if you are vegetarian or vegan you have nothing to eat there (if you like meat you will love dinner:)) ||-wellness - jacuzzi was very dirty, slippery and water was dirty. ||-no wifi in the room only on the reception and bar (in the room only via for notebooks)||||We didn't try any lunch so can't say how it was..||||Overall hotel was nice and new with nice decoration with good connectivity to highway with nice view to High Tatra.||The review looks more negative but point haven't been so anoying. this whole review is written for 4 * hotel. Z hotela mám zmiešané pocity na pobyte sme boli v marci. (naštastie nie v dobe hnojenia polí :) naozaj si to neviem prestaviť kedže v okolí je samá poľnohospodárska pôda) Izby boli príjemné čisté trošku bolo cítiť používané prostriedky na čistenie takže sme museli najprv poriadne vyvetrať. Kúpelňa veľmi pekná a čistá. Čo sa týka jedla tak k raňajkám nemôžem nič vytknúť (však kto už pokazí chlieb a salámu samozrejme je tam väčší výber). Obedy sme si nezaobstarávali. Večere takisto ako aj raňajky sú formou bufetových stolov hodnotím ich celkom priemerne, bežné hodné skorej do dobrej vývarovne výber tam samozrejme bol. Chýbal hlavné dáky nápoj je si ho možné dokúpiť popri večeri ale podľa chuti aspoň džbán s čistou vodou a citrónom bodol. Prejdime na welless a bazén z môjho pohľadu pol hviezdičky len za to že tam bola voda. Výrivka nefunkčná a voda prechlórovaná a celkom zapáchala. Bazén je dobrý na zaplávanie posedávať sa v ňom kvôli jeho teplote moc nedá. Trysky v bazéne sme videli fungovať asi 5 minút potom celý čas nešli. Do sáun sme si zakúpili plachty a šli sme to vyskúšať prvý deň parná sauna bola celkom fajn no uvítal by som tam trocha arómy. Druhý deň sme do parnej sauny nedokázali ani vojsť bol tam neskutočný zápach. Fínska sauna mala tak 95 °C ak podotknem že sedacia časť je celá "rozheganá" tak celkom ok. Pri príchode do hotela vás upozornia že do sáun je nutné požičať si osušku za symbolické euro čo by nebol až taký problém keby to robili aj ostatný hostia. Čo sa týka hygienických pokynov by bolo jednoduchšie dávať plachty zdarma aby to nebol pre niektorých hostí problém (predsa to čistenie až 1e nestojí a pre 4 hviezdičkový hotel by to bol aspoň dáky bonus...
