Penzión Zlatný potok — Hotel in Mútne

This hotel has a big potential to the future. Its located in very nice natural place. Its looking really new, its really nice designed. Rooms are surprisingly in really good shape, modern furniture & bathroom - we had apartment room with balcony. Food was quite good, however on breakfast there were sometimes lacking food, because it was already eaten when we arrived later, for vegetarians it was bit complicated because they always mixed eggs with some meat sausages or bacon. Overall we have been satisfied with food. Staff was really nice, young waitress - however i think they were only 1 or 2, doing all the things like taking care of guests and also doing reception/front office work (they should have more people in the hotel). During our stay 4night, there was no done any room service, which is very weird, they even did not clean trash bins in the rooms - but as i mentioned this could be because of lack of staff. In the Saturday there was also some private event/celebration down in the restaurant, and there was big noise/music even after 10pm, which is unacceptable for hotel guests. Overall we were happy with stay, I mentioned that this hotel has really great potential but they need to tweak bad things I also mentioned so guest are happy and...

Hotel is nice. Really nice. It is visible that investor wasn't trying to save money...well except one thing, which is just pity - missing air conditioning. Now you would not miss it because of weather - weather in this part of Slovakia doesn't get too hot so you could sleep okay at night with open window, however you cannot.... The farm is next to the hotel, so you will be hearing dogs barking and cows making noise most of the night. Such a shame...||As for surroundings - there are beautiful places to visit, but yu will have to travel by car, nothing too interesting in immediate distance. You can use bike, but be sure you are at least average good biker, its lots of hills. Visit Janosikove Diery - its beautiful place. Visit Oravsky Hrad. Take a ride on Oravska Zeleznica. Lots of things to do, but all...

First, I have to say that this pension is located in silent place surrounded by nature.The room was nice and large with good bed, TV and fridge, next were shower and toilet. The staff was nice, the food was perfect. Saunas were not perfect (the infra sauna does not have a well-placed heaters, in vapour sauna the seats was cold) but enough for so many people there, the whirlpool was good. I only saw one negative not enough staff. Although the receptionist was a very smart young girl, so she have to do a lot of things at one time and therefore always she lacked. She had to to be at reception, manage saunas services and the same time working like waitress...despite small deficiencies, I recommend, not only for very good price.This pension is very good located for trips to know...
