We actually stayed at this motel/ hotel twice during our road trip in August of 2023. The main building is next to the highway and contains the motel and the restaurant. Prices are fair, service at the hotel is friendly. First arrival was just before 19:00 hours, giving us ample time to settle in, have a look around the gorgeous grounds with its many amenities, and still have dinner at the good quality restaurant before its early closing time of 21:00 hours. With time left over to enjoy a drink next to the pond, enjoying the stars and the bats catching insects over the water. The second time (return trip) we made a reservation by phone and as we were delayed at the Romanian-Hungarian border we arrived shortly before 22:00 hours. Knowing the restaurant would be closed, we got some food from a local supermarket and ate it at one of the hotel's picknick tables. The lady at the front desk then opened the door to the hotel for us to let us in. At this point she asked us if we were finished for the night. When I told her I'd like to take a shower and then go out for a last cigarette, I was told this was not possible, as the front door remains closed after 23:30. As the sign next to the front door sais "Hotel Non-Stop" I was unpleasantly surprised to be locked up in my small non-airconditioned room until the next morning. Possibly a minor nit-pick to most visitors here, just something I was annoyed by. But this seems to be a family-run business and the lady in question was still there when I went downstairs at 07:00 the next morning. I'm sure she just wanted a few hours sleep. Same lady I spoke to on the phone in the afternoon the previous day. Long shifts. Communication was mostly in German, although during checkout on the 2nd visit (younger male) and in the restaurant English was spoken as well. Phone number listed on Google was incorrect (Google also listed the website, the number on that worked). Rooms and appartments in the motel/ hotel do not have air-conditioning or a fridge/ minibar. You may experience a lot of road-noise depending on the location of your room. The cabins (appartments) at the back of the main building do have air-conditioning. It's like a bungalow holiday resort back there. I'll recommend this place, provided you arrive early. Definitely not a truck-stop but a descent establishment suitable...

Last night i arrived at Motel M around 23:45, i've informed the property that because of bad weather i will be a little bit late. When i was there the lady at the office said to me that she does not recodnize my booking and that they dont have that room. As alternative she offered me a triple room for a much higher price. Because i was very tyred i said ok, because i had no other option and then when i tryed to park in the Motel parking she said that i am not alowed even it was completely free ! She said then to park the car and trailer in the public parking but there was no room for me. I was then forced to leave. More than this she had absolutely no intention of speaking english even she knew (i stayed at this Motel and she had the same attitude but then by calmness i managed to pas it by and stay...

Great location. Beautiful design. Terrible service. We have chosen this place for our lunch stop on our road trip; Shortly after ordering our drinks we regretted it and decided to not eat there at all. You see, bartender was rushing us, but that was not that big of a deal. We're large group (family) and we chosen the largest table with benches that can comfortably host 6 persons. We thought that two extra chairs would be enough to modestly host all 9 of us. ... But the other bartender got pissed at the idea. He become really rude and shut us down without much of...

100% worth stopping by and having a meal. Tastefully furnished, very clean and nice place with very tasty kitchen, friendly and professional staff, the prices are right, actually less than one would expect Will come back for sure!

We stopped for lunch on the way home. The restaurant offers traditional Slovak cuisine, we had cheese and gordon blue, both meals were fine. The interior is outdated, the service is a bit slow, we waited a long time for our food.
