Hotel Viliam Fraňo — Hotel in Nitra

Hotel Viliam Fraňo is simply one of, if not the best place to organise a wedding (or anything similar), stay the night or simply to have a lunchin the whole region of Nitra. Since we have had our wedding celebration with around 80 guests there, my rewiev will be wedding stuff biased.

I would like to divide my review into three parts:

Hotel, its surroundings and accomodation Right upon arriving at the hotel, one can clearly see, that this is a place, that is ready to accomodate everyone in style. There are plenty of parking spaces outside, with the two of them being reserved for people with disabilities. Apart from the parking lot, there is a playground for the children, and honestly, the surroundings are amazing to do a wedding photoshoot as well. The hotel lobby and the main hall where one can dine (this was the place of our wedding celebration) is spacious and timelessly designed. As I said, we had approximately 80 guests, and there was no problem to comfortably fit them in and still have a generous amount of space to dance. On top of this, the tables and chairs at the main hall are so beautiful, that one does not really need to have any extra decorations, other than the ones provided by the hotel. Since majority of the guests had to travel long distance to attend the wedding, many had to have a room for one or two nights. The rooms of the hotel were unbelieveably beautiful, 100% clean and ready for the guests with very comfortable and generously sized beds. The room bathrooms were, of course, squeaky clean as well.

Food Since we have had the pleasure to have experienced the breakfast, the lunch and the dinner at Hotel Viliam Fraňo, I can confidently say that there is no place like this hotel in Nitra to get such good meals at this price range. There were many options to try for both the sweet and the savoury "breakfasters", each of them being of always freshly baked or cooked. As for the lunch, we have tried the weekly changing menu multiple times (and we will do so again this week!) and the hotel kitchen did not ever disappoint. No matter if the meals were a bit heavier with meat or just light salad lunches, they were always prepared to perfection and, all jokes aside, they could make a bad day way better. As for the wedding dinner and the bufet, the meal of our choosing was prepared excellently. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned, brought to us and the guests at ready-to-eat temperature and the plates were simply a pleasure to look at. One can clearly see that it is of great interest of the hotel to make a perfect dining experience by taking a very high-quality ingredients and using them to create culinary masterpiece every time someone sets their foot into the hotel restaurant. Last but not least, the hotel was more then prepared to create lactose- and gluten-free variants of the dishes that the majority of the guests had.

Hotel personnel If the points above did not convince you to decide for this hotel, this one definitely will. The personnel of the hotel is easily the highlight of our experience with Hotel Viliam Fraňo. They have taken the whole stressful, wedding planning experience and transformed it into something, that we were very much looking forward to. Apart of the wedding stuff, they were always polite, smiling and always ready to help. Bear in mind that this did not change after a shift that had to be longer than the wedding celebration, and we did not end the party early. I guess, that this is the way, I would like to give you the biggest and the most sincere "thank you for everything", that I can give for me, my lovely new wife and for all of the guests, that have attended the wedding.

To sum up, if you need a place to have lunch, to stay the night, or to have a wedding, do not think about anything else and just go to this hotel, they will take care of you with a smile...

V tomto hoteli sme mali svadbu 29.4.2023. Musím sa vyjadriť aj v mene už teraz môjho manžela. To, že priestory a samotný hotel sú výnimočne krásne a priestranné, to zbadá každý na prvý pohľad. Chceli by sme ale predovšetkým vyjadriť vďaku za všetko, čo pre nás personál hotela spravil od začiatku príprav, organizácie, ústretovosti až po samotnú svadbu, to bolo fantastické. Personál (vrátane pána manažéra a ostatného milého kolektívu), boli vždy k dispozícii (emailom/telefonátmi), boli ochotní riešiť problém ak nejaký nastal, boli flexibilní a nápomocní. Svadba prebehla v nesmierne pokojnom duchu, privítanie hostí bolo na vysokej úrovni. Jedlo bolo úžasne chutné, vybrali sme si hovädzie líčka so zemiakovým pyré. Predjedlo bolo čerstvé (bruscheta) a podávané po príchode hostí na stôl. Pred svadbou nám personál umožnil prísť vyzdobiť miestnosť svadobnou agentúrou, pripravili nám miestnosť pre kvety, ozdoby, servítky, vázy , chladničky pre zákusky a tortu. Počas svadby dozerali na všetky detaily (prinášanie (rôznorodého) jedla k správnym hosťom (niektorí svadobčania mali iné jedlo z dôvodu choroby/tehotenstva), objednávanie drinkov pre hostí, debarasovanie stolov, krájanie torty atď.). Nemali sme predstavu na čo sa zamerať, čo objednať, ako pripraviť sálu ale pán manažér je profesionál a vysvetlil nám ako to funguje na svadbách a aké sú možnosti riešenia naozaj najmenších vecí. Mali sme prenajatú menšiu sálu v hoteli pre 30 ľudí, nikto nás tam nerušil, okolie bolo tiché, mali sme aj deti na svadbe, vonku sa vedeli hrať na detskom ihrisku. V mene novomanželov Hanky a Filipa (a musím povedať že aj v mene ostatných svadobčanov) vám úprimne ďakujeme za vašu snahu, ochotu a dobre odvedenú prácu na našej svadbe. Určite sa sem...

Na tretí pokus nám to konečne vyšlo a týmto by sme sa Vám chceli veľmi pekne poďakovať, že ste spravili náš deň presne podľa našich predstáv. Jedlo bolo famózne, každý si pochvaľoval a určite musíme vyzdvihnúť hovädziu sviečkovú a popolnočnú divinovú kapustnicu, ktorú by sme odporučili každému jednému kto bude nad ňou rozmýšľať pri plánovaní svadby. Veľmi milý a ochotný personál, nikdy nemali s ničím problém, vždy úsmev na tvári. Obsluha spravila našim hosťom veľmi dobrú náladu, klobúk dole k ich profesionalite. 😊 Hotel nám vyhovel absolútne vo všetkom, hlavne super komunikácia s prevádzkarom, ktorý nám poradil a pomohol ohľadom celej svadby a mohli sme tak naplánovať každý detail dopodrobna. Jeho skúsenosti nám veľmi pomohli. Priestor a celé okolie hotela nás a našich hostí úplne očarilo a sme radi, že sme využili aj možnosť ubytovať sa a tak sme si u vás spravili nielen svadbu, ale aj taký malý víkend. Raňajky ráno po svadbe na hoteli je skvelá možnosť, ktorú treba využiť. Za nás bolo všetko absolútne v poriadku, a dopadlo to snáď ešte lepšie ako sme čakali.
