Hotel Grand — Hotel in Nové Zámky

We visited the hotel for our nephew's wedding. Our first time in Slovakia. we drove from Bratislava airport and the Hotel was well signposted . Check in was easy and the room was clean with plenty of room. We ate at the hotel and while breakfast was fairly simple, the other meals were good quality and very good value with a wide choice. The staff were friendly, and very helpful. Our son and his family from Scotland were booked at the Hotel Korzo, but the hotel was awful. We asked if they could be accommodated at the Grand and the manager/owner did everything she could to get them a room. They eventually were able to also stay for 3 nights. The hotel gardens were well kept and a good place to relax and even eat outside. It was also only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. There was also a market on the Saturday, only 2 mins walk away. I cannot praise this hotel enough and they deserve the high rating. If you are thinking about staying in Nove Zamky then choose this hotel. ||Harry Gilfillan,...

We also attended the wedding in July with Harry.It was my sons wedding and I was very impressed at the lengths the Hotel had gone to in making the wedding area the perfect place for the event.The Hotel was Modern,operated by a very professional and friendly staff.The ambience was perfect for a relaxing and pleasant stay.Lovely gardens and although we were not staying there,I had the opportunity to see the rooms.Can only be described as EXCELLENT.We dined in the hotel prior to the wedding and the food was again excellent.Because of the experience we had at the Grand,we have booked a week in July 2014 and have opted for a SUITE.I would recommened anyone travelling to this Slovakian town,that they first contact the Grand HoteL before choosing where they will stay.|| IAN GILFILLAN....

Following our visit to the Grand Hotel Nove Zamky last year for our sons wedding,we returned for a 7 night stay this July.We booked a suite which was excellent in all respects.This Hotel is the the most relaxing place you could pick to stay.The standards of cleanliness are very high,the accommodation to a very high standard and the Friendliest and most professional Staff you will find anywhere.Apart from the Hotel you can relax in the large garden where it is very peaceful.A very short walk to the main square and easy access to Bratislava.Slovakia will become a desireable place to visit in the near future and if you find youself in the lovely town of Nove Zamky,dont miss out on the Grand Hotel experience.|| IAN GILFILLAN...
