Penzión Kohútik — Hotel in Oravská Lesná

Super location for skiing, snowboarding 🏔️ hiking and biking 🌄 Great looking wooden hotel and restaurant with playground for kids and a great looking fireplace/ BBQ hut.

We visited during summer but in winter you'll find that this Penzión is just ca. 200 meters away from the skilift and ski slope! I can imagine this place buzzing with good vibes in winter!🏂⛷️🇸🇰

Although we were here just for lunch, we could feel the good vibes 🌞 Friendly owner and staff too 😃

Penzion Kohutik is very nice and has nice, new and clean rooms with TV. Big plus is playground for children by the penzion and place for barbecue. It is located far away from village center, near forest (so car is a must). You can easily visit Oravská lesná železnica - historical railstation and use historical train to visit goral cottage and make nice trip. ||Kitchen is very good, breakfast is in price. Service was OK, I would appreciate more...

Restaurant looks good, near to the restaurant is big playground for kids. We didn’t wait for meal a long time, but it wasn’t tasty. We had chicken soup, bryndzove halusky and penne with cheese. It wasn’t a taste, it was without salt and pepper. Halusky s bryndzou was the worst ever.

After all, I ordered an espresso. The waitress didn’t know what is an espresso.... It’s terrible. She bring me a lungo. It was disgusting. Without taste, too hot.......
