PLAZA BEACH RESORT — Hotel in Prešov

Absolutely awful! I have never been to a 'resort' that was mean to make people feel comfortable and relaxed to have such terrible attitude and service. My little boy was afraid to slide down a water slide, so his 13 year old cousin went with him. The life guards started to blow their whistles and shout that the children as if they have done something dreadful, so the children got completely scared and put off (apparently no one heavier than 50kg can slide down that slide - the 13y old was a lot less heavy than that..., although they had more than 10 little children with added weight well over 100kg going down at all times, no problem...). The children then decided to play in the pool instead, given the awful feedback. The lifeguards started blowing whistles and yelling even more now. Apparently no child who is able to walk can play in the water - they have to stand instead. So the children were completely put off any swimming. They came out and I gave them apple. The lifeguards started blowing whistles life mad, saying you must not eat near the pool (we were good 3 metres away) - at the same time a little boy was freely peeing in the pool, no no nappy, and no one said a word... Needless to say - we will...

Okay, other 4star hotel review. Pros: Great beds, Cleanliness

Cons: They heavily advertise their wellness centre, it's open for 4 hours only. Also, you can't easily enjoy it without prior reservation. We received information about additional payment of €20 per person to use wellness centre at the reception, haven't see this information prior booking. Their website and internal hotel TV is outdated as it informing about different opening times (4pm to 9pm) and even (3pm to 9pm) during the weekends, and that's the wellness centre is free of charge which is not true. There was no menu in English at their restaurant, the waiter wasn't able to explain in English what in their card. Due to this fact, we didn't taste the food. Despite the cleanliness, they should properly descaled shower heads. The water is running only through some of the holes causing higher pressure and the water is running into different directions. The AllSync from samsung TV is deprecated and not supported since 2020, why are they still recommending it to the customers? Maybe TV software update? I watched things on my laptop instead

The facilities and services might seem ok, but the way this business engages with their customers is very shameful!

When you engage with their social media post (Facebook) and leave a polite and constructive comment about the safety of their facilities, instead of addressing it as any good business would, they delete your post and block you from viewing their page!

In an age where transparency and open dialogue are essential, silencing feedback rather than addressing it is not only unprofessional but also erodes customer trust.

Constructive feedback and questions from customers is a valuable tool for improvement — it should be welcomed, not shut down. This kind of approach to customer concerns reflects poorly on this business values and raises questions about their commitment to accountability and safety.

We certainly won’t trust them anymore nor will we recommend this...
