Horský Hotel Remata — Hotel in Ráztočno

So the positive points of the Remata are as follows: The location is beautiful , set up on a hillside surrounded by woods and countryside. The staff were very friendly,efficient and always on hand. There was also plenty to do including the indoor pool,albeit quite small with sauna, bowling and a pool table though it was in terrible need of recovering. The massage I had was also excellent and reasonably priced.||The food was very average especially the breakfast but all was edible. ||||Now for the negative points:||The hotel overall felt like it needed a facelift it is quite dated but generally clean. As for the first room we had well it was tiny with the smallest t.v I think I've ever seen. The radiator took forever to heat the room(especially considering the size of room) then during the night it was too hot and I had to keep turning it down. ||||The beds were 2 singles pushed together so there was a large area of wood between me and my partner, not ideal when you are a couple and very uncomfortable. On top of that the mattresses were wafer thin and lay on top of the cheapest and most disfunctional slats I have ever come across. During the night 2 of the slats on my partners side gave way and she proceeded to sleep in effectively a hole for the rest of the night. We were both also woken at 6am by a family above us who's children were screaming and running around for the next 2 hours. This I understand is not the hotels fault but be aware noise travels easily here. We were moved to another room because of the bed situation that morning but the beds were no better and simply sitting on them caused slats to give way.During our 2nd night 4 of mine gave way and I spent 20 minutes at 1am trying to fix my bed and hurt my hand in the process. I then spent the rest of the night daring not to move in case the same thing happened again. On waking some of my partners slats gave way also so we just gave up and got up. By the way we are both of slim build this had nothing to do with our weight.||||To top the whole weekend off on opening the window in our room that morning about 30 very large flies came into the room it was like something out of a horror film. There was obviously a nest on that side of the building which the receptionist acknowledged they had had a problem with before. ||||On checking out and explaining our complaints we were told we could not get a refund of any sort as we hadn't booked through the hotel but through a third party which I think is nonsense as they could have offered to at least cancel our extras bill which was only €36 but they didn't and by that stage I didn't have the will to argue, I just...

This September we thought, we will book the accommodation for New Year's Eve in order to achieve a beneficial offer. A few minutes later we already had a confirmation in our hands, about fix price, dates and the confirmation included the breakfast. Our reservation was made through the hotels.com.||Everything was ok, we waited for the December to go until once, in this week a letter was waiting in our email account from the hotel manager. In the letter they obliged us (He claim posteriorly!) to pay another amount of money that we have already paid for… We answered that our confirmation did not contain additional ammounts so we will not pay anything else.||We contacted a member of the hotels.com who confirmed our position and infomred us try to contact the hotel. To this day Hotel Remata unable to answer the phone or reply to the letters.||In 2017 despite the fact that a confirmation is in our hands from September, such this thing can be done by a hotel? A service company can behave this way? In my opinion Hotel Remata is not guest centric and not reliable place. They are a money-seeking band and the management is scandalously bad. Za mňa NIKDY VIAC!!! Boli sme teraz na predĺženom víkende. Po 2h vo vašom hoteli som chcela odísť preč. Mali sme u vás rezerváciu viac ako 2tyzne čiže dostatočný čas nám dať adekvátnu izbu keďže ste vedeli že máme 3r a 9m dieťatko a musíme mať detskú postieľku ktorú sme si museli doniesť so sebou. Čo je možno aj dobré lebo by som veľmi uvažovala či dám svoje malé dieťa spať do vašich perín. Boli sme ubytovaní na 2hom poschodí čiže si viete predstaviť tie schody s 2ma malými deťmi kuframi a kočíkom. Len do jedálne sme mali minimálne 40 schodov. Neviem prečo píšete že ste hotel s Wellnessom keď okolo wellness to ani nešlo. 1 maličký bazén a voda 30° v ktorej sú bubliny čiže ani si neviem predstaviť ako tam človek môže zrelaxovať. Áno máte 2 sauny a tie sú dobré iba na to že Vám to tam vykúria inak by sme tam naozaj zamrzli. Myslíte vážne že 5lehátok na celý horel je dostačujúci? Za mňa nie. Z bazéna musíte ísť dlhou chodbou do šatne a tam je ten najväčší šok. Prievan a zima taká že sme deti tam nemohli ani obliekať . Rovno sme ich balili pri bazéne do svojich uterákov a deky keďže ani uteráky ani župany neponúkate. V dnešnej dobe hotel ktorý má bazén župan je samozrejmosť nie pýtať zaň 7€. Z bazéna do našej izby bolo 96 schodov. Ďakujeme! 😏 A jedlo? Čistá katastrofa. Aby som si o 7:30 dávala hriať párky, alebo praženicu je nemysliteľné. A keď sme prišli na večeru 19:10 áno 19:10!! Všetko jedlo bolo studené! Išli sme na to upozorniť a videli sme že je to vypnuté. Slečna prišla a začala to zapínať čo už bolo neskoro. Deťom som išla dať ohriať aspoň polievku kým sa druhé zohreje. No do 19:50 a sme sa nedočkali! Všetko sme nechali na tanieroch a išli na izbu ak sa to dalo nazvať izbou. Polievka podľa mňa sáčková aj v sobotu aj v nedeľu. A jedlo z druhého dňa len dorobené aby ho bolo viac. Čítala som recenzie a viac ľudí sa sťažovalo na jedlo čo sa aj teraz potvrdilo. Hotel nie je vôbec určený pre rodiny s deťmi. Deti tam nemajú čo robiť okrem toho že im príde zamávať váš maskot ale pozor to sa musí nazbierať aj viac detí aby vôbec prišiel. Kino s pukancami? V bočnej jedálni malý televízor 2 malé koberce a hračky čo už svoju rolu dávno skončili. Plavčík je zároveň masér a aj upratovačka. Spodný detský kútik na dlažbe v prievane na 1 malom koberci domček a 2 šmýkačky z toho jedna pokazená že sme radšej odišli aby si malá neublížila. Izba tak malá že keď sme rozbalili detskú postieľku nemali sme kde chodiť. Máte síce skriňu v izbe ale bez poličiek čiže ani veci sme si nemali kde vyložiť. Koberec špinavý fľajatý, sprchovací kút som mala pocit že tam drží silou vôle. Aj sme sa báli doň ísť aby sa nerozpadol. Držiak na mydlo to nezvládol a radšej odpadol sám čo sme len vošli do kúpeľne. Neviem kto vám robil fotky na stránku ale vôbec to nesedí s realitou to čo sme videli sa s fotkami čo máte na stránke nedá porovnať! Keď si to s manželom čítame iba sa smejeme čo to všetko máte napísané a ako zavádzate ľudí. Keby sme neboli ťažko pracujúci ľudia s 2ma malými deťmi odídeme preč a zálohu vám necháme tak ako máte v podmienkach. Ale v dnešnej dobe je každé euro vzácne a ja ľutujem je som ho musela nechať práve vo vašom hoteli. Za mňa ako som písala na začiatku...
