Hotel Golden Bull — Hotel in Rimavská Sobota

The hotel is located in the town center. I have also been there 2 years ago and then, according to me information only the third floor was renovated. I then had a room on the 5th floor. The room was Ok except for the bed. I now had a room on the 3th floor. I had a big room with a double bed, there was fridge a table with two chairs and a desk. The bed was now OK. There was a large bathroom with bad/shower combination. There is only bath soap available. At the end I could not switch the bath crane between bath and shower. I do not know of, at this moment, all the other floors are also renovated. The only disadvantage is the missing airco. It was 35° when I stayed there and this results in a very hot room. I could open two window/doors to get some fresh/cold air but then the room is more noisy. The Wi-Fi in the room was working very good. There is a big restaurant but during my stay there were not so many people in the hotel. The first days I could order a breakfast witch was basic but OK. You can have diner and there is a menu card with a lot of choices. You can also sit outside on a big terrace. The price/quality of the diner is OK. The service is correct. They just speak enough English to be served. According to the info there is a fitness room. Price...

I've stayed in this hotel 4 times in the last 10 years. The rooms have improved of late. The restaurant has not. It was very quiet when I stayed for 10 nights. Breakfast was menu only. Only 4 choices and I tried them all. Ham and eggs was the only choice I would try again. No cereal, orange (coloured water) juice. Bread and butter, two packs if you were lucky and one jam. Tea or coffee. There was an Full English on the menu but only the name was English. Inedible. Bacon (pork fat) eggs (scrambled with a strange additive) Sausage (boiled frankfurter) quartered raw tomato and slices of pepper.||Good room but the bathroom had no shower and you need one when its 35 degrees. The beer was spot on Zlaky Basant is the local one and very nice. I ended up going into the supermarket next door for cereal, wine (good price)...

Hotel som vybrala ako jeden z mála, ktorý povoľuje pobyt so psíkom, kedže sme sa účastnili výstavy psov v Lučenci. Boli sme ubytovaní jednu noc. Vybrala som izbu Business, ktorá by mala byť priestrannejšia a modernejšia.

Po vystúpení z výťahu na treťom poschodí som si hneď všimla koberec. Ušmudlaný a fľakatý nepôsobí tým najlepším dojmom a ja som začala mať pochybnosti v akom stave bude izba.

Na oko je izba celkom pekná, ale. . . Kúpeľňa: zájdená sprchová hlavica vodným kameňom, že voda cez ňu ledva tečie - navyše značne ošarpaná až hrdzavá, pod umývadlom viditeľný fľak od zaschnutej vody, chýbajúci sprchový záves - po každej sprche je v kúpeľni “potopa”, v čase pobytu bol asi hodinu v kúpeľni veľmi nepríjemný zápach - akoby z kanalizácie. Izba: chýbajúci zlatý záves v predizbe, koberec už má to najlepšie za sebou - je špinavý a fľakatý v rohoch až čierny a nepôsobí to dobre, prach na dvierkach skrinky minibaru - naozaj viditeľný, špinavá návliečka na paplón. Za mňa osobne nepríjemne mäkký matrac, čo je pre spánok úplná katastrofa. Chápem, že čo sa spánku týka je to veľmi individuálne, ale v hoteloch by určite nemali byť tak mäkké matrace.

Cena za izbu Business - 80€/ noc, je vysoko predražená. Základom je čistota, čo tu veľmi absentuje. Nepotrebujem mať v izbe dekoráciu pampovej trávy, chcem mať v izbe čisto.

Poplatok za psíka je 15€. V iných hoteloch bola v izbe pripravená miska s vodou, sáčky na kalačky a niekde aj pamlsky. Tu nebolo pripravené nič, škoda.
