I love the restaurant, the food was perfect although for the breakfast they should give more fresh white bread. I give a worse rate because we had some problems with the hotel. They have nice and clean rooms but in our room the airconditioning didn't work and it was 36 degrees outside. It means in the room it's around 40 because we had only 1 small window what you couldn't open just like half so the warm stayed inside. We couldn't sleep for 4 nights and they didn't do anything. They wanted to give us another room without airco. Also no windows in the hall so even if we opened the door it was like a sauna. Some people from the staff spoke really good English but some almost nothing so we had some problems... They washed our clothes and from my boyfriend's shirt they took out the colour somehow but we didn't want to complain anymore because we were tired from the place. It supposed to be a perfect hotel for this price but it's not. At least we didn't pay for the wash because the airco didn't work so we had a deal... We had a kitchen in the room but with no reason cause there are no plates, glasses or even a knife or something. So we couldn't use it to be honest. If you get hungry and the restaurant is closed you should make a sandwich by...
Read moreDuring a visit with extended family in Eastern Slovakia, I stayed at the Torysa Hotel and found the accommodations to be excellent. The hotel staff was very friendly, and went out their way to make my stay enjoyable. The morning breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was very good with a variety of hot and cold breakfast items. Each item was prepared to my liking. The rooms at the Torysa were comfortable and free high speed wifi is included. Actually, I found the wifi to be better than most 4 or 5 star hotels I have stayed. The Torysa spa looked inviting, but I did not use the spa during my visit. The town of Sabinov also has many historic buildings and churches to visit, along with good shopping options.||I plan to visit Eastern Slovakia again soon and will definitely stay at the...
Read moreIt's good in general. The customer service is nice but as usual Slovak people can sometimes come across as ignorant and rude. It's not their fault its just socially accepted now a days. As I said It's good in general food is nice. But beware I think the cook had either too much to drink or has changed chefs the pizza had half the cheese dangling off it and was dry yet oily at the same time. No idea how he managed it but he did. Also I must warn you. When the outside terrace is closed the restaurant is inside. But they bring the beer down from the terrace outside and bring it inside in a jug! And by the time they serve it to you in a pint it's flat! As usual Slovak people can sometimes come across as rude and ignorant and when I asked the waitress she said "oh well I don't know" and nothing...
