Penzión pod Magurou — Hotel in Slovenská Ves

Coming back felt like coming home. Situated in a peaceful surrounding the hospitality of the host running the beautiful wooden pension together with his family was again overwhelming. It is a great place to explore the eastern part of High Tatra and the countryside further east (hiking the high mountains, floating on Dunajec river, visiting the beautiful UNESCO-town of Levoca and the Spiss Castle or tasting Whisky and chocolte at Nestville, etc. - so, many things to do). But best of all is coming back after a day tour and being welcomed by Lubo, his hospitality, story telling and cooking quality of traditional dishes with his own twist, some local beer and schnaps - and the evening will be great and relaxed. All the stay we felt again as part of the place and not only as visitors. We will...

We stayed at this pension as two families with six small children, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the shared areas were extremely convenient – from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy playroom indoors, and especially the large outdoor play area where the kids could run and enjoy themselves safely.

Dinner at the pension was excellent, and the food exceeded our expectations. The view from the property was stunning, and the location is ideal for exploring the High Tatras, with easy access to many hiking trails and attractions. Above all, the hosts were outstanding – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this place for families...

Prvy dojem hodnotim ako velmi dobry, kedze penzionik sa nachadza v krasnom prostredi a izby ma taktiez prijemne prekvapili zariadenim z uz pouziteho dreva, ktore vyzeralo fajn. Penzion sme navstivili aj s malou civavou, ktora zije v byte. Po telefonickej dohode s majitelom sme sa dohodli na istej sume za pobyt s tym, mozeme zobrat aj psika (chceli sme spravit rezervaciu cez booking a majitel nam ponukol sumu nizsiu ked booking obideme). Nakoniec sme zistili, ze pobyt zvierat je podla stranky penziunu povoleny a cena este nizsia..no nevadilo nam to nebol to nejaky velky rozdiel. Ked sme prisli na miesto vsetko bolo super, privitala nas velmi milo manzelka majitela. Prvy den utahany po 4roch hodinach cesty sme sa rozhodli, ze ostaneme na izbe a vylety podnikneme az dalsie dni. A tak sme chodili fajcit na terasu aj so psikom( terasa bola dokopy penzion+restika), ale bolo to take domovske prostredie, susilo sa tam pradlo, bolo tam poodkladanych vela veci. Jeden stol bol prikryty kartonom a samozrejem psik hodil cvrk asi sekundovy...no co uz stalo sa co sa nemalo stat..ale pan majitel to asi cez okno videl a zrasu sa otvorili dvere na terasu so slovami:,, Toto akoze robi aj na izbe?" Pozerame na neho zaskoceny tonom akoby sme boli vrahovia a hovorime: ,,vyzerame ako ludia, ktory ziju v stankach sprepacenim?" A pan na to: ,, lebo ja som majitel ak ste nevedeli a ak sa vam nepaci mozete ihned odist a ak neodidete pridem si osobne skontrolovat co vsetko bude ostane"......tak taketo privitanie sme rozhodne este nikdy a nikde nezazili. Majitel sa potom snazil az prilis vlezlo to napravit(po cca3 hodinach), ale bolo to dost falosne. Vypoculi sme si par vtipov pocas pobytu, ako ponukol polievku (jednu 3 v jedalnom listku, ktora sa vola,, chlebova polievka s opecenou slaninkou a cerstvymi bylinkami) ako koser polievku lebo netusil ze v nej je slaninka....a pritom je polievka pychou restiky.. ale musim podotknut, ze na to aky to je maly podnik, varia super...Na miesto by som sa po skusenosti s majitel urcite nevratila, skazil mi cele 4 dni svojim arogantnym a povyseneckym pristupom. Ale na Slovensku je to tak ze zakaznik ktory plati...
