Reštaurácia a Penzión Grobský Dvor — Hotel in Slovenský Grob

Nice place, but horrible service... Starting in the main entrance with a soldier looking old lady standing next to the bar.... And you must hurry up with your meal, my little son was running out of the restaurant to the playground, and my wife when after him to check were he was... And the old soldier lady was running behing my wife to let her know, that she needs to hurry up with her meal!!!!🤦‍♂️ Unbelievable!!! So never mind, we wanted order coffee and desserts after the meal, but with this kind of people and service, the whole meal was with bitter taste... NOT coming back any more, and I will not recommend this place to nobody... I worked for the restaurant industry for many years and I will never do or let my staff to do something like this at all... Totally unprofessional and not matters towards your most important people......

We visited the Region around the St.Martins day which, as we learned, is a day to taste the new wine and feast on a roasted goose. We also learned that there is no better than a " Grobsky Dvor" and we were not disappointed. Only problem was to get a reservation but even that was overcome by a very friendly hostess.||The atmosphere is welcoming , you are made to feel like family and the food most delicious .Crispy skin on the goose with a moist and flavourful flesh accompanied by potato pancakes and red cabbage - yuuummmm . ||if you are in the region it is a must...

Zastavili sme sa na obed. "Štandardné" husacie menu.

Ako predjedlo husacia pečeň + kyslá príloha (kapusta, paprika, uhorka) + výborný kváskový chlebík. Pečeň bola naozaj výborná, šalát chutný a chlieb naozaj čerstvý a chrumkavý.

Ako hlavné jedlo sme mali objednanú jednu Gróbsku hus s lokšami a dusenou červenou kapustou. Všetko bolo excelentné a nie je čo vytknúť, môžem iba odporučiť.

Ceny trochu vysoké, ale samozrejme sme s tým počítali, keďže sme si hus objednávali dopredu. Ceny sú zverejnené na ich webe, takže žiadne prekvapenie.

Čo ma trochu zaskočilo, tak to, že keď som robil rezerváciu, tak som bol upozornený, že nie je možné platiť kartou, ale iba v hotovosti. Avšak na mieste platili pred nami iní zákaznici kartou. Keď som sa teda opýtal, či môžem platiť kartou, tak sa ma opýtal pán, či nemám hotovosť. Keďže som bol pripravený, tak som hotovosť mal, takže som to zaplatil cash. Druhý "problém" bol, že som nedostal doklad o zaplatení, ale musel som si ho vypýtať. Pre tieto nedostatky uberám jednu hviezdičku...
