If you want to experience western Slovakia at its best, this is a place for you to stay. You will experience the small town life with all its charm, while being minutes from Trnava (a small city with beautiful baroque architecture and many churches) and less than an hour from the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, with the beautiful gothic cathedral where Maria Theresa, Holy Roman Empress, was crowned. You will also be close to Modra and Pezinok - towns of the wine region of Slovakia. Slovakia produces some excellent wine, originating in this region.||I have stayed in Harmonia in November so I could not fully enjoy the fact that it's on a lake, and the guests can enjoy the outside seating and fire pit, etc. But I very much enjoyed the stay. The room was very clean, modern, cosy and comfortable. The bathroom had a roomy shower. There is plenty of parking space, free wireless internet, a bar, and a restaurant.||The owners (a couple) are nice and professional. They have a group of sheep and a pet pig outside. ||There is also the beautiful village of Smolenice, about fifteen minutes by car from Harmonia, with a chateau and an interesting history.
