Read moreWe spent here 3 nights btw June 19 and 21 as a couple and with friends. We went to hike in the Mala Fatra. The mountains were beautiful, we hiked cca. 15 km distance - 600m elevation on the 1st and 10km - 1100m elevation on the 2nd day (Velky Krivan).||What I liked about the hotel: clean, modern, polite staff, very good breakfast, good wifi.||I did not like: ||Extremely noise room during night due to a road and a long opening pub in front of the hotel.||Extremely unconf bad (too, too soft and short for my 185 cm). It was a real torture. I could not sleep or well non of the nights there.||Too warm blanket. It was just a cherry on the cake....||There was no trash can and tray or fridge in the room -- when you hike full days you need to make sandwiches from your own base materials to bring them with you. Here you can make them only down in the restaurant or you mess up the room.||The restaurant does not serve tap beer; they are practically closed out of breakfast time.||The bank card reader did not work and their excuse did not sound serious. Obviously, they just say they accept bank card but do not do that. At least they should remove the tons of bank card issuer stickers from the entrance door...||This hotel is clean and modern (like minimal design), however it has no own style at all. So you are fine with the design but cannot be liked at all.||The staff speaks German out of Slovakian but no English. ||||Sum: we paid 120 Euro for 3 nights. I found it too much, generally. Obviously, you can find better deal if you look around more carefully in Terchova. There are very nice, friendly pensions, maybe not on booking.com...
Very nice and affordable place to stay. The rooms are simple but nice. They have old TVs, but if you're here to watch TV, don't come to this area at all :) It's close to the road so if you're a light sleeper you may want a room facing the woods. The restaurant is opened for breakfast (Swedish table style) and dinner (fantastic food). There's a common room as well. They do have a chair lift and a handicap room with bathroom on the 1st floor. Free...
