Well hidden at the back row of the village, this b&b became our home for three nights in august 2019. And a home it is, maybe a bit larger than average house, but still we felt like home. We got a family room 206, located on first floor, which comprised of launge, double bedroom and bathroom. Also we had unlimited aess to large area of the first floor hall, which was a communal part, but since only two rooms were occupied when we stayed - it was pretty much to our exclusive use. All together it was larger than many flats I've seen. Breakfasts served downstairs in a bit too small dining room. Breakfasts were very tasty and plentifull, but I would love to see bigger variety. Large car park on site. Wifi a bit weak at times. The only downside I can think of was the moment of payment (cash only), when we had the exact amount of euros to pay for the nights, but we didn't know there's also a city tax we had to pay, and we struggled a bit to get that very small amount of euros, but finally we managed it without even going to the cash machine - the nearest one is about 10 minutes drive. Very nice stay it was, would highly...
Read moreThis friendly and comfortably located B&B is run by a couple who work hard to provide a friendly, homelike welcoming atmosphere. The renovated farmhouse provide family and couple rooms, has a HUGE yard in which the kids can play, ride bikes (available on the premises), feed the chickens and even fish! the adults can barbecue, hike and enjoy the quiet countryside area. ||||The place also offers nice breakfast and home made dinners - they do not have a menu to choose from - they just make you dinner from whatever they buy fresh that day. So if you like to be surprised - GREAT (and the food was always tasty and fresh when we were there). If you have special dietary preferences - coordinate in advance with the owners. ||||The only downside we found were that the owners communicated in Slovakian, ad little Russian and German. English is a problem, but everything can be worked out with a smile and good will.||||In short - great for family or group stay, on your way to the main Slovak attractions or as a...
