Pension Lesná — Hotel in Vysoké Tatry

We stayed here for a week in June. Loved everything. Lovely clean rooms, comfortable beds, great new clean bathrooms, always available hot water, towels changed every 2-3 days, good location and free parking and all of it comes with very moderate price tag! The owners are extremely nice friendly and do everything to help and accommodate your needs. They were always interested in our walking plans and ready to help with advice and then always asked how it went in the end of the day. Good delicious hearty food exactly what you need in the end of a long day of walking in the mountains. The steak was much better than in the four star hotel nearby!! Great personal attitude and family feel. Great thing was that when we needed our laundry done there was no problem and the clothes were cleaned and ironed by the end of the same day. The pension is very close to the train stop from where you can explore the surroundings. We really recommend it. This little penzion is a hidden jewel. The owners are super friendly and take great pride in their place. The room was spacious, and included a balcony. The bed was comfier than most, and linens were crisp and clean. There was ample closet space and even a fridge. |The only reason we didn’t rate “quietness” higher is because there was a large group of guys staying above us who were enjoying themselves until the wee hours. We booked this Penzion rather than a more expensive one in Tatranska Lomnica or Stary Smokovec.
