Hotel Eminent — Hotel in Zlaté Moravce

Pulled off the motorway for a stopover and this was the first place I found. I just needed a bed but I was very happy with my 'find'. It is nothing special, it's a functional hotel in an unremarkable part of Slovakia; however, it was clean, the staff were friendly (not in a forced way), the room was a decent size, the bathroom was dated but also clean and there was a good-sized bath, which I made use of. I wasn't counting the pennies but the price was very good. Breakfast was buffet-style, hot bacon eggs and sausage, then salad, cheese and ham, cereal, fruit, coffee machine and juice. Enough choice for most people.||||I spotted a couple of dogs in the morning so it seems it's pet-friendly. There is a covered smoking room outside in the courtyard; the rest of the hotel is no-smoking.||||Next time I'm passing (which is a couple of times a year) I will definitely plan a stopover here, rather than...

This hotel is in a great central location in Zlate Moravce and has plenty of car parking. The room we were allocated was large and of a good standard. Unfortunately, we were woken at 5 in the morning by banging noises from the kitchen and then were unable to get back to sleep due to constant noise.|When we went for breakfast, I think we were the last guests, so there was very little choice, which was disappointing. Whether you are first or last you should still have the same choice. |When we complained to the reception staff about the noise, it took a while to resolve and then we were only given 10 euros compensation. I thought the very least they could have done is refunded the cost of the breakfast for the 2 of us, which was 14 euros.|Anyway, we visit this area regularly and certainly will not be...

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this well located hotel. Our room was large with a small refrigerator and a small balcony. It was clean with a good sized bath/shower. ||Breakfast buffet, which was included in our nightly price, had eggs, bacon, sausage, salad, cheese and ham, cereal, fruit, coffee machine and juice. My preferred morning beverage is tea and the staff was kind enough to provide hot water separate from the water available through the coffee machine. ||We were in town to visit with friends and stayed 5 nights. It was a good value for location and the room. The only negative was we had very warm days and the a/c was not working nor was the air flow from outside enough to cool the room down. ||I would stay here again next...
