Chata Primula — Hotel in Zuberec

Our team came from Turkey for the festival in Zuberec in August 2023.

Has a great village home vibe, is calming. Felt at home here, as if its Black Sea region in Turkey but colder.

Beautiful nature and location, hiking trails everywhere, a little stream on the front yard which is drinkable and tastes good, and the Studeny river across the hotel which is really nice.

There are public showers.

Almost everything about the bathroom was bad. The towels are pretty small, and I wasn't given an extra towel when I requested, as nothing dries out. I ended up using a pillowcase. After our first day, the water sometimes flew cold or took long to warm up, but the main season is winter so it might be less of a problem then. Also the water had a bit electrical taste/smell to it. 1/5

There is also a lake nearby.

I guess we were in the blueberry season, so you could find blueberries everywhere, and tiny strawberries aswell.

There was breakfast, lunch and dinner. All really delicious, but there was pancake for dinner once which is unhealthy.

There is a recreation room upstairs, billiards, table tennis and table...

I've never experienced such a disappointment at any hotel before. On the first night the water started dripping in the radiator and woke us up. We had to use earplugs, otherwise we would not be able to sleep the whole night. Luckily service fixed it the next day. The bathroom was small and the shower wasn't even covered, there was no curtain and despite the fact that we didn't pour water anywhere but into the small tub or onto the wall it still managed to spill onto the floor making it a lake. The bed sheets were to short and I couldn't even stretch my legs because my feet would be sticking out. It was cold. The location is not bad at all, but the overall room condition isn't satisfactory. I really do not think this place is worth...

Ani neviem kde zacat. Nepisem recenzie ale toto je vrchol! Cisty hnoj, ci uz izby, personal alebo jedlo. V izbach zima, smrad, potuchlina, plesen, poskodeny nabytok (strhnuty zaves na okne, polamane policky v skrini, krvave flaky na roztrhnutych oblieckach, poskodeny radiator na ktorom boli ohnute koliecka ktory nam neskor dali zaplatit za 50 eur a to pripominam ze my sme s tymto nic nemali! v kupelni toaleta ktora ani nesplachovala, na sprche nebol ani zaves a vo dverach chybal kluc, s teplou vodou sa mozete rozlucit, voda ktora tiekla prudom ktory mozem prirovnat k placucemu cloveku, spinave koberce, potuchnute skrine bez policiek,...) v kupelni vsade voda a plesen, v izbe chrobaky a pavuky, pavuciny. K jedlu sa vyjadrovat ani nejdem, na ranajky "svedske stoly" na ktorych nic nebolo a ked som sa opytal personalu ci dolozia jedlo na ktore mame narok tak ma otocila medzi stolom ze jedlo uz doplnat nebudu) "personal" odporny, neochotny priam TOXICKY! tento kvazi personal - chyzna ktora bola zaroven vratnickou, casnickou, barmankou a "veducou" v tomto ubytovacom zariadeni - bola tak neochotna ze ked prisla poziadavka ze ci by sme mohli dostat cukor do caju bola tak neochotna ze sme tento cukor ani nedostali a ked sme treti den apelovali na to, ze ziadame trochu cukru tak nam nasypali do misky ako pre psa trochu cukru ktory nam nasledne tak ci tak zobrali. Ked sme pri tom psovi tak tam jeden velky menom nina stale chodil a lezal pocas ranajok obediv a vecere - to by ani problem pre mna nebol ale ide o hygienu a slusnost - veceriate a pod nohami vam lezi velky smradlavy pes... Porcie jedla boli na urovni skolkarskeho olovrantu ktore ste na dve otvorenia ust zjedli. Dalej ani nejdme pokracovat lebo je tu tolko toho ze by som mohol napisat bibliu stareho a aj noveho zakonu..... cista katastrofa, skandal a trauma - urcite sem NECHODTE a ani nepremyslajte nad tym ze nejaka ubytovna Primula na konci...
