Gostilna Müller — Hotel in Črnomelj

Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable- we were very happy with our stay there. It is not a fancy hotel- they are very nice guest rooms. No elevator but only about 6- 12 stairs depending which entrance you use. They breakfast was good- meats/cheese/breads, yogurt, cakes, some cold veg, juices- they offered to make omelet or eggs but we declined as happy with the offerings available. ||The restaurant was good- huge portions, a salad bar- definitely eat here whether you stay or not- a few years ago we had lunch while in town for the day and it was fantastic. We had a bad experience with a waitress named Tina. Tina had a bad attitude and displayed a complete lack of respect towards us, It's shocking how someone in the hospitality industry could lack the basic understanding of manners and customer service. Tina seemed entirely unaware of the principles of good service, making us feel uncomfortable rather than valued. It's clear that Tina lacks training in customer service and basic manners as well. This is either among the top two if not the no 1 place to eat in Bela krajina. The ambiance is great, particularly on the terrace overlooking the stream. The food is excellent. No vegan meals, but nice fish dishes, great meat dishes, and superb desserts. The staff is kind. They tend to be full up a lot, which can result in having to wait a bit for your food. It's worth it though....
