PR`FIK Apartments — Hotel in Šenčur

So, my husband and a co-worker were called to Slovenia for work. It was EXTREMELY last min, when they boarded the airplane they had no accommodation. I came across this place on booking and was shocked by their low prices. The place looked fabulous- too good to be true, right?? It seemed to have nice rooms and was only a 10 min drive from the airport (I knew the guys would be getting in late, so I didn't want them to have to drive far. It was only 1 night anyway!). I contacted the owner to let them know they would arrive late, would that be ok? To which, Viktor immediately replied saying that would be fine, what time? The plane was then delayed and not being familiar with the airport in Slovenia, I roughly estimated midnight thirty and explained to him they were coming from Frankfurt. Must be a small airport because Viktor immediately replied with their flight number, and that they were now tracking them and would be awaiting their arrival! Talk about customer service!!! Hubby immediately reported the place is amazing! He said the studio was super nice, very clean, spacious, and had a lovely outdoor patio w/ seating area. The grounds are beautiful and the property is located next to a river. There are outdoor seating areas w/ tables near the river and a play area for kids. The yard is just beautiful with stunning mountain views. Viktor and his family are ridiculously friendly, extremely knowledgeable of the area, and very accommodating; from recommendations on restaurants to hikes, to gathering fresh eggs for breakfast! They will provide you with anything they possibly can!! My husband loved the place so much, they returned the next day after work, and stayed the remainder of their time in Slovenia. We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in a Comfort Studio. It was decorated beautifully with stunning views over the river, trees and gardens to the Alps beyond. The apartment led out onto a large furnished patio. The children had to be dragged away from the trampoline, swings and slide and had great fun with the bikes, scooters and footballs made available to them. Great laundry facilities too! There are walks along the river, one of which leads to the small local playground. There is a small supermarket a short walking distance away, and a bar at the top of the hill which I believe serves food but didn't while we were there. Gostilna Logar is a great value local restaurant a 10 minute walk away along a flat well lit path. Krukherija Gorjanc is another good restaurant a 20 minute walk away also. We had a lovely time at Pr`Fik Apartments, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. It is the perfect place for a quiet break and within easy driving distance of Kranj, Bled and Skofja Loka....

Our Comfort Studio had a good size, a comfortable bed with a separation wall, where a tv was included and could watch from both sides – bed and room, air condition and a well-equipped kitchen, however without an extractor hood. The bathroom was also spacious with a big shower. Outdoor there was a nice terrace for just relaxing and also eating with a view to the green. From the point of arrival till the departure the host Gregor was always friendly and helpful in all situations and did everything to make our stay great. We were here for 5 nights and even the tows were changed and the rubbish emptied meanwhile although it was not announced and did not expect that. This is a brilliant location just for relaxing and resting, some walks along the river or for trips in the surrounding like to Ljubljana, Velika Planina, Bled or many other destinations.
