Guest House Krnc Domacija — Hotel in Žužemberk

The rating is based on my personal experience and the sheer bliss of having an entire guest house almost "to ourselves".||||Firstly, this is a guest house, not a hotel. There are no bell hops or room service, this is a good honest country restaurant/bar with rooms. The rooms are well laid out, nicely furnished and most importantly clean. The bathrooms are shared, however given the note above, we didn't have an issue as only one other family were staying at the same time.||||The setting is idyllic, on top of a hill in the middle of the rolling forests of Slovenia. There is a 10m pool in the garden along with pool table and table tennis table. To be honest I could have stayed here for days, simply relaxing and getting away from the crowds.||||If you want a getaway with great "pub" food and really friendly staff (I feel bad only giving it three stars, but as above, there is only reception / bar / restaurant facilities), then I couldn't recommend it...

Traumhafter Ort. Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Dass das Badezimmer außerhalb des Zimmers liegt ist nicht optimal, aber auf jeden Fall zu verkraften. Der Service war spitze. Wir hatten noch nie so nettes, hilfsbereites und kompetentes Personal wie hier. An der Stelle sagen wir danke an das gesamte Personal. Sie konnten gut Deutsch sprechen und haben uns alles ermöglicht was wir brauchen. Außerdem wurden wir immer wieder gefragt, ob z. B. alles mit dem Zimmer oder mit dem Essen in Ordnung ist. Das ist richtiger Service! Das Essen war traumhaft. Regionale Speisen mit Vorsuppe und Salat, traumhafte Desserts u.v.m. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und toll aufgetischt. Das Dorf bietet so viele Möglichkeiten zum Abschalten. Wir konnten einfach mal richtig herunterfahren. Auch der Pool ist ein Traum. Roxie, der Wachhund/Bademeister ist ein ganz lieber Hund vor dem man echt keinerlei Angst haben muss. Wir kommen...
