I ordered the “homemade gnocchi with grilled chicken and grilled vegetables”….What i got was beyond my imagination. (The reason the dish is mostly eaten in the picture is my family members ate it). Firstly, when you base a dish on a cream sauce, YOU WRITE THAT IN THE MENU. That’s the rule. Some people just do not like it and based on the title you wouldn’t exoect that. Second, what i got for my vegetables in the middle of july which is absolutely perfect for serving a rich variety of fresh veggies was FROZEN FRICKING CORN. CORN. Which you expect in a mexican restaurant. Not in a cream sauce in a medditeranean dish. Oh and some tiny particles of soggy green peppers and zucchini (basically microscopical size, invisible) found their way in there. Also, don’t dream of the gnocchi being homemade because i know them when i try them. Absolutely disappointed and as a student, i would expect this in a menza, not for 15e in a restaurant which sells their dishes for mostly 17-27e. If you want to charge the prices of great restaurants, offer something remotely close to that. I am not even angry, just confused about who made this combination. I sincerely hope you just ran out of veggies because if this is a planned dish, i strongly urge you to contemplate this choice again. The other people’s food was fine, just this was crap. Came across Koren gostinstvo in turizem while travelling from Munich to Croatia on honeymoon . It is the most idyllic setting , absolutely beautiful. Fishing on the riverside from the campsite , then relaxing with a few pints in the restaurant/bar while also enjoying the amazing scenery. Kids swimming in the river and playing volleyball and other sports in the local park, directly opposite from the campsite . Supermarket is 5min walk which has all food and drink needed, also has an ATM. The restaurant/ campsite is owned by a local and very hardworking family . ||||The three daughters were very welcoming and done absolutely everything for us. Will never forget this most memorable stay as Marusa, one of the families daughters, took us to a local Slovenian dance night and to date it was one of our best nights of our honeymoon so far. We will happily accommodate her on any visit to Ireland . We are delighted we came across this hidden gem as it is not advertised on the internet . I've visited on 19th of July on a wonderful and hot summer day with the company of nine. ||The place next to the river, renting boats, table tennis etc. are superb.||We were served one beer brand in the glasses of another company by a waitress wearing Coca Cola apron and Cocta (concurrent drink) t-shirt but it wouldn't bother. ||It took them more than one hour after our order was placed to tell that the pizzas are still not ready and won't be for a while, so we left!||In the meantime they only served food to a few other customers so it was not the amount of people that would make us wait.||We ate there several times before out of peak hours and it was much better.||They urgently need a responsible person to take charge and improve the organisation of service...
