Glamping VIRJE — Hotel in Bovec

We stayed at this campsite using our tent. Due all occupied other campings in the high season this was our last resort for staying in the Bovec area. The owners were very friendly and helped out whenever they could. The camp spot was so relaxing and quiet which makes it unique in the area! However I heard they were thinking of expanding which I do understand but they will lose this unique part. The cost for having a tent spot was actually quite steep (50 euros p. night), but we were glad to pay it to relax after our hikes and other cool activities in the area. One other negative aspect was the card which was required for the sanitary. I noticed not only me, but others struggling to open the doors using the card after 20:00. The staff wasn't polite and very moody when we arrived, they didn't explain anything about the camp - where can we put our tents etc. On the last day when I bought coffee with milk on their coffee machine, I only got hot milk with no coffee in it. And that cost me 1€!!! During showering one morning they got out of hot water and electricity which was very unpleasant. And on top of everything we couldn't pay our stay with vouchers, which is possibly in every camp in Slovenia, if you are a resident of Slovenia. Nice smaller camp for a good price. Free, very big parking area in front of it. Definitely recommended if you plan to try some water attractions, they offer them along with this accomodation, also for a reasonable prices. Everything in the camp was working properly, however only 1 shower for men was functional, second one was disabled, so you might wait long in the busiest times of the day as I did (however, second shower might be fixed soon).
