Kamp Korita is located at the perfect spot right next to the small Korita Soče (the big ones are close by - a stunning path to walk), by a beautiful bridge and a very nice beach right at the river Soča. Also, the sun comes out in a way, that there is always some sunlight present as also there is a lot of shade from the trees.
The glamping villa is very comfortable, there is a heater - which is very important for me, even though I like to sleep in the cold with windows open. There is a huge bad, with nice wooden lamps on the side with a phone charger and phone stander in it - very practical. Under the bed, there is also some storage, which is also practical.
The camp has two sides, and I really love the left one, where the houses are in a nice circle, with a shared bathroom of 4 complete individual bathrooms. And I never needed to wait for one to be free. Besides that, on the other side of the camp, there are also glamping houses and also rental houses. They have also places for campers. And dogs are welcome.
I was amazed by finding every day something new, funny, and creative in camp and also in the surrounding nature. As a photographer, I love the scenes that nature provides and in all different times of the day, with the different weather - just beautiful. The camp has lots of creative ideas and details, it is consistently developing and updating. The staff is sooo sweet and helpful, they are a great team and the energy is so nice, it makes you want to join them.
The kitchen has all the items you need, and everyone respects the rules and the kitchen was always clean when I needed it.
I came in late, in the dark. And in the morning when I woke up, I knew I have to stay one more night to get a bit more out of the place. So after my breakfast and coffee, I went to the reception and reserved another night. That gave me the freedom to go and explore the left side of the bridge to Velika Korita. Well, it took me the whole day almost. And the next day I want right and up the hill a bit...
I realized I need to go back and give myself more time to explore all around it.

No, ta čudovit most (na slikah) pelje v kamp in plaža takoj ob njem je sanjska!
Read moreMy girlfriend and I had a pleasant stay at the glamping villa in Kamp Korita for three nights in early June. The villa is good value for money - for 79€/night, you get a clean and cozy tent-like cabin equipped with a heater. The best thing is definitely the view outside our villa though. It overlooks the Soča River and it made my mornings wonderful as I walked past it. The hot tub is a great addition. We booked it for 50€ but there was no time limit, perhaps because no one was using it after us. The tub is well-maintained and you can control the temperature of the water yourselves. Not to mention the view of the mountain while relaxing in the tub! The staff was all very nice. Gigi was always happy to help and she gave me her number so I can message her with any questions. They make you feel very welcome :)
However, public transportation is limited near the camp when it’s not July-August summer season. Buses hardly ran from Soča to the towns nearby. The nearest bus stop is a 20-minute walk from the camp. The last bus was at around 3-4pm so we often had to walk everywhere when we didn’t have a car. Otherwise, everything...
Read moreDisrespectful and aggressive treatment of cyclists seeking help – absolutely unacceptable||We were cycling through the Soča Valley when one of our fellow cyclists had a technical breakdown – in the pouring rain. In our predicament, we quickly looked for a dry place to assess the problem and stood under the large canopy of an uninhabited glamping hut on the grounds of Camp Korita. We took great care not to damage anything, disturb anyone or litter the grounds.||What happened next was simply unbelievable: the operator of the site, Peter Della Bianca, came up to us and immediately started swearing at us in the worst possible way – without even asking what was going on. The words he used were censored by Google when I tried to quote his tirade in this review. |For him, this was apparently a completely normal tone of voice. Our explanation that we were just looking for shelter from the rain and wanted to fix a bicycle breakdown did not impress him in the slightest – on the contrary: the insults continued with the same intensity. Despite our obvious plight, he yelled at us and drove us off his property.||In the end, we had no choice but to tow the broken bicycle away in the pouring rain – away from this place – to find a better, more humane place to stay.|Such behaviour – aggressive, inhumane and completely lacking in empathy – is incomprehensible to us and has nothing to do with hospitality or human decency.
