Pri Bregarju — Hotel in Brda

We were warmly welcomed by the lady owning this b&b. After showing us the room and the house, she offered us a pichet of the wine produced by her son. Fruity and smooth Red wine. We ordered a bigger pichet for our dinner.||The room was spacious and nicely even simply furnished. Comfortable bed. Quiet location. ||Fantastic views of the surrounding hills, villages and vineyards.||Gorgeous copious breakfast with fruits, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee, roasted courgettes, and more... All served outside under the shade of the trees.||About dinner, there’s no cooking facilities in the room so you either reserved it ahead or you bring your picnic. We had a small portable barbecue, table and chairs in the car so we settled a bit away from the other guests (to not bother them with the smoke) and cooked some simple dinner. One-star accommodation feels really low for this place. The room was spacious and very comfortable, rustic but elegant. It was very quiet and and everything worked well (shower, AC split unit, etc.) We especially enjoyed the view over the valley from our balcony. There was a shared fridge in a common area and you could buy bottles of their own wine to enjoy as well. The breakfast was very delicious, including meats, cheeses, fruit, veggies, bread, and omelettes plus delicious plum juice and coffee/tea. The owner was really welcoming. We felt as if our own grandma was taking care of us. The road up may be a little narrow and steep, but it's worth it for the paradise that...

We are just back from our vacation and had a great time (and perfect weather) at Pri Bregarju.||It is a former farmers house which was rebuild to a small B&B. The owners family is still active on the property and is taking care of the fruits, wine and olives. ||Breakfast times can be arranged individually and you can get some good tips from the owner.||The view over the valley is outstanding! Hiking trails available directly behind the property leading to the highest view point of the area (Sabotin).||Very quite area enables a good night sleep.||Bring your own...
