Hotel Celjska koča — Hotel in Celje

Our stay at Celjska koča in July of 2024 was great. The hotel is amazing for those looking to get away from the city. We were in Celje for a sports competition and needed a comfortable and welcoming place to rest.|The rooms were good, offering great views of nature surrounding the area, however if you are without a car, access to the city can get pretty tricky since Celje doesn't have good public transportation or Uber.|On the other side, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the general manager - Urška.|She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with a smile and genuine willingness to help. Her dedication to guest satisfaction is extraordinary - she made sure we were comfortable, provided great recommendations, and even accommodated special requests with ease. Her kindness and professionalism created a personal touch that made us feel truly valued as guests. She was also one of the rare few in all of Celje that knows not only Slovenian and English, but Croatian as well, which made our communication much better.|A huge thank you to Urška for making our stay so easy and unforgettable....

I stayed there 2 nights.||Hotel is nice, functional, clean.||Staff is amazing, always with smile and positive attitude.||Breakfast was included in room price with many options of cold food (ham, cheese, cereals, yogurts etc.) there are also hot sausages and scramble eggs, tea and coffee of course.||There is very nice terrace with such a wonderful view. ||This hotel is great for families as they have some spacious rooms with many beds, there are also many attractions for kids, such as "bob-kart" track, slides, streetball. ||For a fee you can relax in sauna and jacuzzi, there is a fitness room too.||You can also rent a bike as there are many places to see near by.||If you want to escape from crowded cities and relax in quite place - this is it!||I highly recommend this hotel and will be more than happy to come back!||Special thanks to reception staff for being so nice and their customer service - they stepped out of their lines and made our vacation exceptional with special offer for 2 separate rooms!||Congratulations to management for having such nice guests oriented...

A really nice hotel with a great view on a town Celje. I stop by mostly during my hikes to Grmada, Tovsti vrh or during cycling trips to/from Svetina or to Celjska koča aswell. They have plenty of activities to offer, no matter the season (skiing, ski school, snow sledging, hiking, etc. during winter and tree climbing - adrenaline park, hiking, bob sledge simulation, etc. during summer). A zip line from Grmada to Celjska koča is also being built; this will be someting great for all adreanaline junkies ;-) Food is also good, prices are fair. They also offer sauna experience. So - coming and staying at hotel Celjska koča offers a lot for various types of people. I'd recommend it if you like to stay in a more peaceful place but still 10 minutes drive from city center.
