Hotel Julian Alps — Hotel in Gorje

Overall a great hotel. Nice atmosphere with it being in a village and all, but it's also managed to stay fairly advanced and still fit the vibe (streaming services on the TV and all). Some parts of he village do smell of cows but that's to be expected and doesn't effect the hotel. The room is pretty small, and has a unsatisfactory living-bathroom ratio but otherwise has a nice feeling to it. The bathroom has one of those innovative showers that doesn't have a back door and one time one of us wasn't paying attention and the water ran off the shower on the bathroom floor but overall it isn't really a problem. Otherwise it's a quiet, cozy place besides the church bell in the village that once woke me and my family up at 7 am with an astonishing 140 dings!! That was annoying but other than that it's a...

I had a wonderful stay end of August. Location was perfect for me. Zgornje Gorje is lovely. It was easy to go to Lake Bled - there is a frequent bus service (if you don't have a car) and the bus stop is just a few steps away from the hotel. If you're fit, you can also walk or cycle to the lake. I actually walked through the village all the way to Bled on two occasions.

The staffs were always professional and kind. I really enjoyed the Julian Alps eggs breakfast - it was lovely. I had two dinners in the hotel (the deer steak was the best). My room was spacious.

Overall, it was a lovely stay. A good base to explore Bled (even Bohinj - I went to Bohinj on two occasions whilst staying in this hotel). I will remember everything (the hotel, hiking & horseback riding in this beautiful part...

Nov butični hotel je lepo umeščen na obrobju vasi. Parkirišče je dovolj veliko in vzorno urejeno, prav tako je zelo lepo hortikulturno urejena okolica. Pri prenovi starih objekotv so upoštevali tradicijo, ki so jo dopolnili s prenovljenimi kosi starin - na vsakem koraku se vidi da je bilo v izgradnjo vložene mnogo ljubezni in spoštovanja do lokalnega, tradicionalnega. Sobe so konfortne in udobne. Kulinarika je presenečenje, vsekakor ostanite tudi na večerji. S hrano se lepo prilagodijo tudi željam otrok. Odličenje bil tudi zajtrk, delno samopostrežen, delno strežen. Osebje je prijazno in gostoljubno. Wellnessa na žalost nismo utegnili koristiti, sem ga pa pogledala in izgleda lepo. Hotel je odlična izhodiščna točka za izlete v hribe in kolesarjenje pa seveda tudi za obisk bližnjega Bleda. The parking area is spacious and perfectly organized, and the surroundings are landscaped with great care and charm. In the renovation of the old buildings, tradition was carefully respected and enriched with restored antique pieces – everywhere you look, you can see the love and respect for the local heritage that went into its creation.||The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The cuisine is a delightful surprise – you should definitely stay for dinner. The kitchen also accommodates children’s preferences very well.
