Hotel TISA — Hotel in Hoče-Slivnica

Where was the last time waking up with birds singing in to your ears?? I did! And i did it in a beautiful Oasis of Tisa Hotel in Pohorje, Slovenia. Hotel Tisa lies on the 912m and you can tell the Air is so much more clean and fresh!! The Hotel is surrounded by the woods, thats why i call it Oasis! A place of Peace!!! The hotel rooms are average but very clean and organized! If you are traveling with the family i suggest you to book the last floor room (its in 2 floors and is decorated in a typical WINTER HUT wooden style). For skiing, there is 2 ski areas Belviue 5 min drive and Areh 7 min drive! If you dont ski there is plenty of hiking and walking areas through the woods! ||The staff is very friendly and you will never feel alone! Its like a family hotel, where everyone knows everyone and you will be good taken after. If you want to go and visit the 2nd biggest Slovenian city this one is just 20 min drive away or you can take a lift from the Belviue area, which will bring you directly to town of Maribor, the only thing you need to do to take the Bus number 6 to take you to the center of the town!! Late February we have spent 4 nights with our 30 students and 9 teachers from school I work in.||A hotel was very clean, staff friendly, rooms a little small but comfortable, food excellent. I also liked small details with lots of wooden interior. From the balcony facing south there is a wonderful view to the neighboring hills and Drava plain down bellow.||In our price were also 2 round trips a day with a local bus to the ski resort 9 km away up hill where we spent day time learning how to ski.||We will definitely be back next year due to...

Hotel needed for overnight stay whilst visiting Slovenia (Maribor) for a football game. Located 3/4 up a mountain the views and scenery are breath taking. Upon arrival the team made us feel extremely welcome with the offer of a locally produced liquor shot - which was very tasty. The team were faultless in their customer service.
