I almost don’t want to share how much i love this place. With only four chalets it’s small and hard to book as is. But i will share that it’s an amazing place. Up in the mountains it’s not the easiest to get to, but so worth it. I’m not sure what i loved the most: the views, Ash the dog, the help yourself wine room, or the experience. The owners are great. After a tour of the place, we settled in to enjoy our time there. Resident dog Ash is seriously the cutest and best behaved dog. And i enjoyed visiting with the neighbor goats and deer. I enjoyed the open kitchen and ability to get what we wanted when we wanted. The coffee machine made some tasty cappuccinos. Husband enjoyed the beer on tap. The homemade sausage was quite good. And how can you beat making your own charcuterie board anytime you need a snack? Each chalet has its own kitchen stocked with yogurt, eggs, cheese, juice, jam, and more. I was able to make a nice egg sandwich for breakfast one morning. The chalet is roomy and the deck is great. A minor dislike is the living room chairs. They look cooler than they are comfortable. The bed was quite comfortable and i like the USB ports on both sides of the bed. The bathroom was good sized and nice water pressure. We tried the two saunas and they are both nice (with a great view). I borrowed a cushy yoga mat from the gym to exercise on our deck in the morning. There are trails for a steep and pretty hike up the mountain. The owners are so friendly and provided wonderful recommendations for dinner. They also helped book some kayaking and SUP for us to enjoy the river. There are e-bikes available that we didn’t use (this time). All in all, one of my favorite places i have stayed (even with the cat ignoring me). I can’t wait to return soon.

Absolutely amazing experience! We were excited about nearly everything. I doubt I can add much more than all the other people here, but in short: 1️⃣ The view is breathtaking — it's everywhere: in the breakfast room, in your house, and even from the bed, you can admire the gorgeous mountains. 2️⃣ The FOOD. You know, this is what truly separates the good resorts from the rest. It doesn’t matter if the menu is huge—nope. The key is quality, and here you get the purest local organic food possible. Breakfast was humble but luxurious. You’ll find sweet pastries (2–3 kinds, homemade and absolutely fantastic), local eggs (so you can cook them however you like), fresh warm bread, cheeses, fruit, and vegetables. Truly a gourmet experience! And let’s not forget the wine cellar — an authentic experience, slicing prosciutto right off the leg? Yes, please! Delicious cheeses, salami, wines, and even a digestive liqueur to finish off the tasting. 3️⃣ Wellness center — the cherry on top. As I mentioned, the mountain view is incredible. The spa has a beautiful, spacious room with two large saunas (and a smaller third one in the corridor), offering the chance to enjoy the view right from the sauna or the relaxation zone. Absolutely stunning! In the end, I have to say — everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and eager to assist with any issue. If I were to suggest improvements, maybe just two things: - The internet connection, especially in the house, was pretty weak, so we spent most of our stay offline. No big deal — it’s the mountains, after all. - The heater was a mystery. We couldn’t figure out how to use it. Thankfully, we had extra blankets and stayed warm, but I’m sure there’s some trick to heating the house that we missed 😄
