Everything was lovely - esp. considering it was found under “Farm stays” (as this brings to mind cows in the cowshed or numerous other animals running around a dirty farmyard).|It was totally peaceful, spotlessly clean and newly renovated inside and out, yet retaining some of the local character. Our room under the eaves was spacious with Velux windows on both sides to air or to admire the starry sky. Seemingly new towels were soft and thick, bed really comfy😉||Owners and family staff were friendly and spoke German and/or English. Good varied selection of hams, cheeses, jams, coffees and teas, not forgetting local yoghurt to die for, for breakfast. Supper can usually be provided on request - warm generally only at the weekends, unfortunately for us.||Only downside was trying to find it as we came along the road (dirt track) from the east, past the Valdhuber winery, wasting at least half an hour as more than 2nd gear was impossible. Brand-new rooms, brand-new house, everything very clean. Owner-managers very friendly and helpful. Ideal for quiet vacation in the Slovenian vineyards, also close to Maribor and not too far from Ljubljana the Slovenian capital. Excellent breakfast, superb dinners. Located very near the Austrian border, walking distance among the vineyards. Location right on top of a hill, with great view of the vineyards all around. Prices: top-value for your money, both for overnight rates (including breakfast) as well as for meals, dinners, etc. ||And not to forget: superior wines, at reasonable prices.||We'd go there...

The owners are the most generous, nice and caring people I have met. The whole family is very helpful and truly made the difference. Their wine is very good and also the love they put in the preparation of meals is just heart-warming. All dishes are organic and the meat and cold cuts are produced by the owners. Next to the house they have a small farm. It was all very clean and the rooms and house have everything you need for a few peaceful relaxing days in the vineyards.
