Hotel Cubis — Hotel in Lendava / Lendva

We booked this hotel but arrived extremely late because of traffic delays so arrived around 12:00 midnight and all the lights in the reception were off and it was locked but a couple of men helped us by calling the central office and soon the attendant arrived and opened for us, that was the only downside, as for the hotel itself, it seemed brand new and very nice, nicely decorated and comfortable, nice beds nice restroom and small but not tiny. Breakfast was extremely simple with very little options but it was good and all we really needed, only thing with the breakfast I would for sure change is I would like to get my own cappuccino or expresso instead of asking them each time. Definitely recommend this...

After two weeks of travelling through Croatia with (very) good hotels we were very disappointed by this first time hotel choice in Slovenia. Rooms were rather dirty, hot and noisy (all doors going to the big noisy lobby hall); staff was partly unfriendly, incompetent and unprofessional. For the breakfast room, lobby and terrace there is one (!) coffee machine often operated by the slowest and laziest member of staff (the male one), so waiting for coffee at breakfast could take up to 20 minutes. Check-out also had to wait for the man operating the coffee machine. Maybe they should go to Croatia to learn how to run a hotel; next time we return from Croatia we will skip Slovenia and go directly to...

A typical no-frills hotel for travelers or anybody spending 1-2 nights. Unmanned reception in the night, so you have to manage the unique access-code to enter. Breakfast is nothing you will remember long, but you should normally hit the road asap anyway. Location is discusable, but restaurant Bella Venezia nearby offers great food to 23 all evenings except Monday. For us location is good as it is about 300 km from start going west.
