Farm Stay Frank Ozmec — Hotel in Ljutomer

So, I didn't actually stay there (thankfully) because I was apalled by their rudeness in the reservation process. Me and my partner wanted a little weekend getaway in late July 2021 and Frank Ozmec's farm was one of our "wanted" destinations. I've sent them an e-mail to check availability of the rooms and they've found a room for us in that time period. In the meantime, I've already found another offer elsewhere (which was better for us) so I informed the staff of Frank Ozmec's farm via e-mail that we will not be coming this year. Everything okay so far. Then our vacation came and we were enjoying a week at seaside before coming to Prlekija for our weekend getaway. I got a call one morning, about a week and a half before our planned visit to Prlekija, and it was from the staff of Frank Ozmec's farm to confirm our visit next weekend. They woke me up so I was confused and I thought that I forgot to cancel the stay at their farm so I started apologizing. The woman who talked to me that day (don't know her name) was very rude and she was giving me a hard time about how irresponsible I am, that this is their source of income, so basically she took me on a guilt trip. I was so embarassed, I couldn't do anything else but apologize over and over again but she wouldn't hear my apologies. When the conversation ended, I checked my e-mail again and I DID sent them an e-mail, telling them that I wont be staying with them. There are many many places to stay in this area, but are not easy to find. That said, this place was a very pleasant surprise for us. Willy (don't how to spell his name) picked us up from the middle of Ljutomer as we had no idea how to get there and when we got there we were very impressed with everything. We had traditional food for breakfast and evening dinner with as much wine as we could drink; as they make there own wine. Pretty much everything we had was home made and was incredibly tasty. I must mentioned the home cooked turkey steaks as they were unlike ANY turkey steaks that I have had before, with flavours that were amazing!! They have their own honey, cherry jam, pear jam, cherry snaps, grappa and a very good selection of chillies ... HOT too :-o||||Rooms are big, clean and new. Wonderful stay at Frank-Ozmec. The guest house is spotless and the rooms are comfortable, each with a private bath. We were given a bottle of the wine made on site as well - added bonus!||||Breakfast in the mornings was huge and delicious (eggs, crepes, veggies, cheese, fruit, coffee or tea...everything you could really want). We had dinner cooked for us one night and it too was absolutely delicious. ||||As the property is a few km's from the nearest centre, a car is really a must. However, a car is highly recommended for the entire Jeruzalem wine road region.
