Kolpa Resort, glamping resort in Slovenia — Hotel in Metlika

We spent a lovely short break at Glamping Kolpa Resort in beautiful Bela Krajina. The resort is set in peaceful nature with charming glamping tents and cottages around a natural bio pool that looks like a pond, complete with aquatic plants and evening frog songs. The water was pleasant, but sunscreen and lotions are not allowed due to the natural filtration.|Our tent had a comfy bed, A/C, a small fridge, and a private terrace with loungers, table, and a bathtub under the trees—great after a long bike ride. Toilets were in the tent, with a very small sink, while shared showers were always clean and available. There were only a few storage or hanging options, though.|Breakfast (€13/person) was homemade and tasty—local cold cuts, jams, juice—but the table, where you eat breakfast, was a bit small. You can buy drinks and ice cream at the resort, though local wine is pricier than in nearby restaurants.|There’s space for outdoor games, and bikes (regular or electric) are available to rent. Mosquitoes in the evening were a downside, so bring repellent.|Overall, a beautifully maintained, eco-friendly resort - ideal for families, cycling enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a tranquil base from which to discover the charms of Bela Krajina. A very unique small glamping resort located about 500 meters away from beautiful Kolpa river. You can relax here and enjoy your stay in a one of the seven wooden glamping cabns or in one of the three premium glamping tents. Owners are super friendly and willing to help with advices if needed. You can also bath in the beautiful natural swimming pool. Optional breakfast is really delicious and must have option. Kolpa river is only a short jump with a car or 10 min walk away. It is the warmest river in Slovenia, also super clean and great for paddling, bathing and snorkeling. There are also other things to explore in the vicinity with a bike or a car. You can find small airfield just next to the resort and you can book a panoramic flight there. I totally recommend this place for spending some good...

We fell in love with this place: the site is very well-kept, clean and spacious the service is great - friendly and thoughtful people who care about their guests Toilets and showers are modern and clean the have embraced and live sustainable camping and make it easy to follow it for their guests the location is ideal for hikes and day-trios in the (beautiful) area

And do yourself a favor and go for the breakfast - it is gorgeous and locally sourced
