Hotel Marinsek — Hotel in Naklo

Nice but horrible disorganized staff. The staff was really nice but just way to few people to deal with largen groups. Which lead to some problems. The wellness area is advertised in the front of the hotel and it costs money 17€ to be exact. But this fact is stated agrand total of twice on papers with a whole lot of other stuff in very small print and the staff does not speek English well enough to tell you. Also the spa area was deserted and no employee To be found when we entered. In short 17€ for about 40 minutes of spa usage. The hotel staff is apparently terrified of their boss and drinking something not bought at the hotel, in front of the hotel as a guest of the hotel is apparently not tolerated.

But let's save best for last. The hotel has a spectacular view of the mountains and the town church, what somehow no one could inform us about is the fact that the church will play a bell+organ song for 15-20 minutes starting at 5.45 in the morning. The hotel is right next to the church and it was impossible to sleep through the noise.

In short don't recommend would not come again and generally...

Overrated!!

We slept in this hotel for 2 nights and I am so glad they were just 2!!

The hall of the hotel is quite modern so it gave me the impression my room would reflect the same style but once I opened the door I found a "nice" surprise.

On the whole It was a bad experience for our first time stay. It will be our last at Hotel Marinsek.

Its a good location hotel-quiet surrondings (but Extremely noisy rooms!!). The church bells woke me up early in the morning, it's a bit annoying when you need all the sleep you can get.

Breakfast was not bad, thank God. However, there was a true lack of customer service!!

There was no written information leaflet in the room that would welcome their guests, have the wifi password, additional information, etc. They kind of rolled their eyes when I asked for the wifi password. They rolled their eyes when I showed up for breakfast on Sunday morning too early. I had no idea that breakfast was later on Sundays simply because they did not communicate this at any stage!

I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel a little bit appreciated...

We have booked to stay in this hotel for 3 days, but we didn’t manage to stay and I’ll explain why! Our flight has been delayed for 1 hour, so we have arrived late in the night at tge hotel, around 1am. When we tried to get in the hotel, we had a huge surprise! Nobody was there to open the door to let us in!!! First of all, there is nowhere written that they are opened until midnight and open at 5am!!! Second thing, how it’s possible to have people checked in in the hotel and nobody from administration to be there?! In case of a major situation, I just don’t want to imagine what may happen! We had our car (that we have rented from airport l) and we managed to find another hotel! We never return to Marinsec again! First impression- huge...
